"What?"

Shadow turned his head from the oh-so-interesting show he was watching on the television to face the one behind him. His eyes had widened slightly in disbelief and were starring the statue behind him with a fever look on his face. The tall hedgehog behind him had his arms crossed, fiddling with the front bangs of his hair and looking out of the window, not noticing that what he said was just a bit too insane to say out of the spur of the moment on such a normal day.

"Omega, what did you just say?"

"You heard me. I witnessed your ear twitched, meaning you detected it." He pointed out, not even looking back at Shadow. "You know what I said."

Shadow groaned before pushing himself off of the sofa and treading over to the sofa. "Omega. Repeat what you said. I'm not asking I'm telling." His voice was demanding, and left a slight huff in the air. Omega took the opportunity to turn his face back to Shadow with a thick silence now setting. Shadow gave him a long stare, eyes melting in the gaze he was receiving back from Omega, then shook his head in slight annoyance. "Omega, God dammit jus-"

"I love you."

It was said flat out without any hesitation, but Shadow detected Omega was finally letting emotions seep through, his tone quietening down and voice getting lower. That nothingness filled their ears again and Shadow nodded, understanding exactly what Omega was saying. Omega loved him.

Shadow didn't know a lot on love, but he knew that despite how easily Omega said it, he meant it. E-123 was in love with Shadow, and he didn't know just what to do about it. Embracing love wasn't very…Shadow but the hedgehog couldn't just turn his head to what the robot just said to him. Those three words, he'd never properly been told them before. No one had loved Shadow the hedgehog before. Ever.

Apparently, Omega felt otherwise. Clearly.

With a deep breath Shadow reached out to put one hand on Omega's arm and the other on his forehead in slight confusion.

"Oh my fucking God, Omega. I..."
