A/N: Pointless Sakura/Li. It came to me while reading Cardcaptor Sakura manga. Fwee.
She is scared of ghosts. And it's was obvious.
Sakura hates hearing ghost stories. Her friends are prone to bring them up often at slumber parties, leaving Sakura with nightmares and paranoia for the next month or so.
She really doesn't want to be scared, though.. Her mother is a ghost, and she still loves her mother. But the thought of something being around you all the time, hiding in the shadows and just waiting…it gives her the shivers.
She is really, truly scared of ghosts.
So how come she isn't scared of him?
He does seem like a ghost – almost. All he ever does is stand around, so silent Sakura almost forgets he is there half of the time. Until he speaks. And then she remembers he's alive. He's standing right beside her.
He's not a ghost.
And yet, he is a ghost. He glides through the shadows, appears only at certain times, and speaks only when necessary. Other than that, he's invisible.
But Sakura doesn't want him to be a ghost anymore.
She wants to have the ability to talk to him freely, of anything else but capturing cards. She wants to be able to laugh and joke with him, to sit and just…be with him. To be able to relate to him, and not just TRY to be nice to something that wasn't there. But she can't do things like that with ghosts.
She can't be friends with ghosts. After all, she's scared of ghosts.
But she's not scared of him.
