Summary: He just couldn't help it when he was bored. He knew there was hell to pay, but he didn't care, he enjoyed every bit of it.

Link was bored. Extremely bored. If he didn't find something to do, his head may explode. His eyes followed that of a chicken's. Saria had told him millions of time.
"Link, mess with those chickens and they're gonna getcha!"
And Saria was always right so don't even bother arguing. Of course, Link had always been a glutton for punishment and always seemed to disobey and somehow, Saria was never serious on her threats.
"If you get your eye pecked out, don't come cryin' ta me!"
She always seemed to end up nursing his wounds no matter what and he seemed to… like it. He had taken vacancy on his front porch of his Kokiri home like many other of his friends strewn across the forest on this hot humid day.
He unsheathed his sword, ready to pick at something or something else. A cluck found it's way to his ears, making an eerie smile pass his sneaky lips. He scanned the area, jumping as his eyes caught that of a chicken's. He brought his sword down, grazing the poultry.
He struck it a couple more times before it's loud "Ka-CAW!" rang through the air, causing multiple Kokiris to run for the safety of their (Door-less) homes.
Link fled, but the birds were to fast, pecking at him and leaving him in a mess in a pile in front of his house. Familiar footsteps took place, stopping and then Saria's pleasant frown filled his vision.
"Again, Link?"
