So, I'm not so great at this, but I shall try to make this decent. By the way, I am not claiming rights to characters or anything. This is how I thought 3x17 should have gone down.

"Is it wrong that trying to kill you's the best time I've had in months?" Jenny asked breathlessly with a slight grin.

She watched his every move closely. She wouldn't lose. They both carefully maneuvered themselves around the shelves. Eye on the prize.

"Actually that's a great reason to let me live," Nate replied, backing up.

Jenny ran around the shelves. He was cornered now. An idea stuck her. She stopped and took a breath. Yes, it would work.

"You are the birthday boy," She started, "I shall let you kill me."

Jenny held up her picture, dangling it in front of him. He'd take the bait, she knew it. He looked a bit suspicious and advanced slowly. She grinned. He took his hand off the shelf and reached for her picture. Part of her couldn't believe that she was going to do this. No, she couldn't have second thoughts now. Eye on the prize.

She yanked her arm away, pulling him in for a quick kiss. He froze as soon as their lips touched and she tore his picture from around his neck, pulling back quickly with a victorious smile.

"Uh-oh," She said, holding up his picture, "You're dead."

His face... God, his face. He didn't look happy. Damn. Bad move, she decided, retreating out the door. She made it out onto the street before Nate caught up with her.

"Jenny, wait!" He said, grabbing her wrist.

She turned to face him. This was all too familiar. The night of their first real kiss played through her head as her eyes met his.

"Jenny..." He paused, gazing into her eyes. He brought his face closer to hers before whispering, "I'm the birthday boy. I decide when the kiss ends."

Jenny was caught off guard. Her eyes widened slightly and a grin spread across Nate's face. Their lips met again, this time not rushed or brief or imperfect. No, this was definitely perfection. And it was just what they both wanted. What one had denied for so long and the other had desired equally as long. How he'd missed the feel of her hair and the taste of her lips and her sweet scent and how she'd missed his touch and taste.

Nothing could ruin it for them now. They both knew what they wanted. To be with each other.
