"Jake! No!"

He turned to Bella's voice penetrating the darkness. He looked around him as the room became white. Trees began to flow from the walls and flowers of every colour imaginable appeared. The cold emptiness of the darkness was replaced with the sun. Jacob sighed. He still couldn't quite believed what had happened. Him, Jacob Black, had taken the cowards way out. Had disappeared instead of watching that bloodsucker with Bella. His Bella. Death was more beautiful by the minute. Green grass now grew underneath him and a creek traveled through the towering trees. He wondered if his shape shifting had been brought with him to this life. He looked down at his body and gasped. His skin was flawless. Every scar and blemish gone. His hair once again went down to his waist. He smiled for the first time since Edward had returned to Bella. Then he took off running through the endless forest shifting and shedding the last life for the new.
