Title: Telling

It was probably the longest, hardest, curse-laddened lecture they had ever gotten.
Rip was standing in front of his timesphere, hand on his hips and yelling. What could have all gone wrong, what about Destiny, what if Ted had supossed to be dead, how that would change the future, they could have destroyed the time fabric, caused black holes, alternate universes, messing with the multiverse...
After roughly the half old instinct kicked in and Ted and Booster were in "Lecture-mode."
Guilty expressions, regretful faces, ashamed feet shuffling, shy glances upwards, a few "We didn´t mean to", "...best intentions" and "We won´t do it again"...all happened without concious thought. They could do that asleep...which was not too far away from their current state of minds and attention.
Rip didn´t notice that the two had drifted off. It was brash, reckless, stupid to change the past to bring back dead ones..even if they were loved ones. It was irresponsible, risky, dangerous for basically everyone involved and uninvolved. You simply don´t do that. Even if you have access to a time machine...and even if you are Booster Gold, you just do not do that.
After nearly an hour, he let out a huge sigh. "Alright, off you go. You can clean the mess up later."
Ted and Booster walked off. When they left through the door it was a beautiful sunny afternoon.
Booster put his arm around Ted´s shoulders and squeezed encouragingly. "You okay?"
As an answer Ted put his arm around Booster´s waist. "Better than ever, Booster"he said and snuggled against Booster.
As they walked towards Booster´s house (which happened to be the rebuilt house of Ted Kord and would be now their house) Ted looked up at Booster. "Booster?" he asked.
With a fond smile and warm eyes Boster looked back. They both blushed a little. Then Booster took Ted´s hand and they walked up to the small garden in front of the house.
As Booster fumbled in his pockets for his/their keys (Ted still hadn´t found out where exactly Booster could have pockets in his skintight suit, but he intended to find out.) something came to Ted´s mind.
He touched Booster´s arm.
"Do you think he should have told Rip about Dan?"
This thought was probably triggered by the almost too familiar figure of Dan Garrett, the first Blue Beetle, who had appeared behind their window and enthusiasticly waved at them.
Booster pondered briefly.
"Nah, he would just have gotten mad...er"
"Ok" Ted replied.
As Booster opened the door, Ted grabbed his hand and squeezed. "And about your sister?"
No hesitation. "Nope."
"Tora?" "Nope."
"Ralph and Sue?" "Nope."
"And what about-" Booster silenced him with a kiss. "Let´s worry about that later."
Ted had no objections.
