Hello all. This is a little poem that has actually been written for a little bit. I'm just now getting around to posting it here.
There are too few fics out there that feature Teng Shen. And she's sort of the Helen of Troy of TMNT.
I still do not own the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, nor do I think I could catch them if I wanted to. No matter how many pizzas I used as bait...
My mother warned me about men like you.
'Fighters have a hard time keeping the battlefield out of the house' is what she said.
'Fighters can't always win'.
She was right. But so was I.
I've seen my home become a battlefield.
When you lift your weapons in my defense.
I've nursed your wounds,
Even though it kills me to see you hurt.
But I know you fight for what you believe in.
My mother said that your enemies would be mine too.
But I don't mind the danger, even if you do.
My mother warned me about men like you.
And I have never regretted not listening.
