Cloud and Tifa

I was in a long boring party; Unfamiliar people, dull food, soulless music. You wouldn't want to be in this, not just because it's formal, but dull.

I was giving out fake smile, and laughs, making sure the people around me left a good impression about I finished my mingling and was heading to the balcony when my gaze turned to a certain spiked Boy.

He looked at me with deep blue eyes. His eyes shined with brilliancy even in a dull atmosphere. He headed my way, a small smile up on his lips. I smiled back, my eyes glued to his, my feet to the floor.

"Hello" his voiced echoed through my ears. Low and smooth like a soft breeze in a spring evening.

"Hi" I replied, my voice rather low and uneasy. He noticed and became more casual.

"I'm Cloud" he said "What's yours?"

"Tifa… Tifa Lockhart" Tifa felt calmer than before.

"Nice name" he smiled. I replied thanks.

"Don't you think the party's a bit dull?" he lowered his voice to at one only I can hear.

"I think it's duller than how you say it" I also lowered my tone. He smirked to see we agreed on the same thing.

The start of that night turned dullness into full colors. Everything looked colorful, bright and beautiful, all thanks to a certain blue-eyed blonde.

The night ended too soon as I was supposed to be heading home. He said his farewell as he escorted me to my car. The last glimpse of his face was pictured in my mind.

As I headed to my room, our time together was what kept me smiling and dancing.

Then my thoughts got clouded.

'What if he liked someone?' my thoughts echoed, causing my shoulders to go down.

'What if he already had someone?' my giggles turned to a silent sigh.

My mind kept reeling into imaginable images that can be real. A girl, beautiful and dazzling, laughing with him, spending time with him in a magical place important to them.

My heart felt a sting. A clutched to my chest as I shook my head, I refuse to believe my imagination. I roamed around my room for a long time until my clock struck two in the morning.

I went to my window, staring up the sky full of stars. Endless and beautiful. I noticed the brightest star and made a wish.

'Please…don't let it be the end…let it be the start' I prayed silently and had hoped when it glistened luminously.

For days, he trespassed my mind. I would blush and feel giddy. I imagined us together, laughing and holding hands. A kiss, sweet and slow. An embrace, his arms around me, I'd feel secure; protected.

I was headed out; my feelings were still delighting me. Today, I hoped to look around if I could spot him after school. I headed to school, through those wide doors when a familiar blonde stood beside it.

His head was looking down to his camera; he seemed to be fixing something from it. He looked up and smirked; he noticed me.

I stood at my place, a bit dazzled and thrilled. After days, i would end up seeing him here. He took his camera up and shot me a picture.

I blinked my eyes as a sudden blast of light shot me. He smiled at me after checking the picture.

"By the way…" he spoke "It was enchanting to meet you"

Then he held his camera to my face. The picture he took of me was quite silly. It was like I'm in some kind of weird daze.

"Hey! Delete that!" I said, trying to get the camera from him.

"Catch me first" he smiled as he ran around, me on his heels.

We raced around while his words echoed through my mind.

'It was enchanting to meet you'
