Summary: Four and a half year old Ginny wants to learn to fly, but her brothers won't teach her, so she takes matters into her own hands.

Disclaimer: If I'm about to enter into a flurry of student debts and intimidating overdraft payments, then I really don't think I own the rights to the magnifcent masterpieces created by HM Joanne Rowlings and bought by the top hats of Warner Brothers and other tall looking people.

The idea for this fic was inspired by a rescued plot bunny on the forums at Fiction Alley Park

A/N: I have gone through several treest to where I am now. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so if you any grammatical hitches or anything that doesn't seem canonically correct to the world of Harry, please tell me, by email or in a review. On that subject, please review, it does create a nice boost of self-esteem :) Enjoy

Chapter One: Sausage Sandwiches

Big brothers are no fun anyway, didn't anyone tell them that playing Aurors was just plain boring? With big letters! BORING!!

Flying was so much better, Ginny thought.. Up there, the birds must look so much prettier, you could get so much closer to them. She hoped they wouldn't fly away if she got too close. Ginny wanted to go flying, to learn to fly, just like all the pretty birds, but on a broom of course.

"Raaa, got you now!" That was Fred, from what she could hear, he had landed on George at the same time as Ron.

"Hey, I saw him first, he's my evil wizard," indicated Rom, gesturing in such a way to make it obvious. Sometimes boys could be so childish, and Ginny was a whole four and three quarters years old, she was almost grown up compared to them.

"No way, I did,' insisted Fred. "George, whose evil wizard are you?"

"Yours, of course. Ron, why don't you be the evil wizard next." George, in suggestion.

"That's not fair, I was the evil wizard before you."

Ginny was thinking, she could show them how to really play Aurors, like what real Aurors did. She had seen it in one of her picture books. it wa Bill's before and he had given it to here because she was his most favourite sister. That wasn't right though, wasn't she Bill's only sister? Bill was silly, but he could mean it like saying she was his favourite out of Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, Ron and here. Bill was always her favouritest brother. Well, in her book, Aurors did more than just fight evil wizards, they also helped people. So they were all playing very badly, and she was going to have to put a stop to all their nonsense.

"Don't you know, you're playing it all wrong. My book says Aurors also help people, fighting wizards is just a small part. So I'm helping you play the right way." Ginny had announced, she was holding out the book in question, but on the wrong page and up-side-down.

"You're a girl, and girls aren't allowed to play Aurors," said Ron indignantly.

"Why not?"

"Because...because they just aren't. that's why?"

Fred interrupted, "Gin, you're too little anyway."

Ginny was about to point out she was much more grown up than any of them, but everyone had been called to get ready for lunch. It was her favourite today, sausage sandwiches. Yummy! Any thoughts of wanting to play Aurors had now disapparated into thin air.

During lunchtime, the WWn was usually on, and ar one o'clock, it was Listen With Mother. That was Ginny's favourite as well, Dolly hopp came on every Tuesday and told the best stories. What could be better that listening to Dolly Hopp and eating sausage sandwiches? if only Ginny could fly as well, that would be brilliant.

A/N: Another little disclaimer. The idea for Listen With Mother came from the 60's television programme 'Watch With Mother' which I watched several times at my grandparents when I was little. Hope everyone enjoyed the first installment, I will be back with more, but don't know when.
