POI Story
Malaria Part 1
Catherine McDonald had just arrived home from a trip to India with her friends Nathan Greenburg, Buster Miller, Chloe Peterson, Cecile Williams, Kellie Barnes, and Danielle Golding. The young woman had been bitten by an infected misquito while there and she wasn't really feeling well.
"Catherine, are you okay?" asked Nathan.
"Yes, I am okay" replied Catherine.
Once after arriving at home, Catherine ran to the bathroom and immediately threw up. Moments later, Cecile walked into the bathroom to check on her best friend. She noticed that her friend had a fever and ran upstairs to get a thermometer.
"I don't think you feel well, Cat, let me take you to the couch" said Cecile.
"Ouch!" exclaimed Catherine.
"What happened?!" asked Cecile.
"My knees and my elbows hurt!" said Catherine.
"Your injuries might have something to do with our vacation, I am going to see if you have any bug bites or rashes to see if they're causing you an illness or something like that" said Cecile.
"Okay, but hurry up" said Catherine.
Cecile looked at the huge mosquito bite in Catherine's arm and asked the others to check out the symptoms of malaria. While Buster, Nathan, Kellie, Danielle, and Cecile looked at the symptoms, Catherine began to shiver.
"Are you cold?" asked Kellie.
"Yes, give me a blanket" said Catherine.
The girl immediately went upstairs to get the blanket. Meanwhile, Nathan finds out that Catherine has malaria and he immediately dialed 911.
