I was watching "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H."-one of my guilty pleasures- and this story came to mind. I'm...really sorry.
Also, A-Bomb is best hulk-just saying.
It was no secret that Red Hulk disliked A-Bomb. The kid was reckless, immature, annoying, and routinely chose Red as a target for pranks. Sometimes Red considered punching him into orbit so he didn't have to put up with the annoyance anymore. Unfortunately, doing that would bring down the wrath of Hulk on him—and even though Red wasn't scared of the big green doofus, he knew better than to pick a fight with him.
So the next time A-Bomb ticked him off, Red got revenge in a different way. Their time dealing with Null had taught him something very interesting about A-Bomb—of all the things he could've been scared of, he had a phobia of clowns. Pretty lame, but it worked for Red. He slipped on a special mask—bought with A-Bomb specifically in mind-and laid in wait for the blue annoyance to come into his room. He figured the kid would turn into a whimpering mess at the sight of Obnoxio jumping out at him.
That night, Red discovered that A-Bomb could punch a lot harder than he'd thought.
Clown masks were thenceforth banned from base.
Red never tried to jump-scare the youngest hulk again.
