Wind
Breathe a sweet scent of jasmine
Wind inside these trees
Speak to me a lost name
Gently blowing breeze
Give to me a memory
Blowing through these leaves
Running through neglected hair
Whispers lingering in my ears
Torture me with silent laughter
Voices play in your turbulent sweeps
Whip me with lingering scents
Embedded in these trees
Kill me wasted time
Wafting away with you
Words to be spoken, flowing freely
Your turbulence to never bring them home
Lull me to a dreaming sleep
Haunted by her face
Filled with days and years of joy
Of loss and tears and wanting stares
Turning dreams into endless nightmares
So bring in the days
Turn lonely nights to years
Dig deeper into her scar upon my heart
Sweep the aging forest floor
Brushing their leaves against me with care
To sit and listen to your songs of woe
To witness your endless memory plays
I sit and wait for our goddess to return
I sit and wait for our,
For my,
Kagome.
