He'd never told Rose, or Martha, or Donna the truth. He didn't know why, but it had been bugging him ever since he first visited New Earth with Rose and went into how many "New's" there were in New New York. He didn't know exactly why he never told them, and he constantly wondered if maybe they deserved to know. But maybe they just weren't ready to know. Or maybe it would be meddling in fixed events in time.

But he never told anyone that New Earth should really be called New New Earth; that it was at least the third planet to bear the Earth name. Or maybe fourth if that Dent fellow was to be believed.

The Cybermen were actually quite funny in a way. They went on and on about "upgrading" humans. However, they never knew how wrong they were, how late they were, the fact that humans had already "upgraded" by becoming part machine, or how the Cylons had decided that biological forms were the real upgrades.

No one knew that humans had not been pure humans in millennia, or that the last full human in every modern (well, modern to Donna, Martha, and Rose) Earthling's ancestry was a man by the name of Karl Agathon, and he wasn't actually from Earth – the one commonly thought of as the first Earth or any other planet called Earth. Sometimes he thought about letting it slip that all humans were in fact aliens.

Then he realized that that was a good way to get needlessly killed, and then he'd have to regenerate, and he really liked his current body.

Come to think about it, that was probably why he never told any of his companions about the original Earth.
