A/N This is our first joint story! So we're really hoping it will be good. So, here goes nothing.
Title: Shattered
Summary: Bella is 17 when her parents get divorced. Accusations are thrown left and right, and now more than ever Bella needs someone to lean on. Who will that someone be? Will that someone be able to save her from her destruction? AH, a little OOC BPOV!

Preface!
Sitting in my room, I could distinctly hear the crashes and yells coming from downstairs. Collapsing on my bed, the tears that have been building up finally spill over. Looking around for anything to do, I find the pocket knife.
Slowly, I pull the knife from its cover pondering what I will do with it. Thinking, I heard more crashes going on. Plenty more screaming along with the crashes. Trembling, I slowly lower the blade to my wrist. Sucking in a deep breath, I press the blade, cutting my skin.
Fighting the urge to cry out in pain, I slash my skin again. Taking the blade away, I examine what I had just done to myself. The two fresh, bleeding wounds weren't very deep. Barely a scratch.
Shaking my head, I close the knife and put it back in its cover. Anger building up, I threw the knife across the room. Hitting my wall, it made a slight indent. I never knew I could throw with such force.
Running a hand threw my hair, I run to take a shower. Quickly, before they find out I left my room. I wasn't supposed to leave my room when they were like this.
Turning on the water, I quickly jump in letting the scalding hot water burn my skin. Quickly I washed my hair and body. Finding the razor, I quickly dug into my wrists again.
The sensation of the blade felt different than anything I had ever experienced. It hurt like crazy, but I did slowly feel the anger leaving me. I know it isn't the best way to release my anger, but it's the best I've got for now. Just as Charlie and Renee both have their own secret escapes.
A/N So, that's only the preface. Sorry, lots of drama. Unfortunately, there will be more cutting and such. But, we're going to take it back to the beginning now so you can see the whole story play out. Soon enough, you'll find out about both Charlie and Renee's escapes. :) Review? What did you think?
