The Lieutenant Still In The Time War.
The TARDIS materialises on Gallifrey.
The Lieutenant steps out.
"Kashline stay there. Don't come out," calls the Lieutenant to Kashline.
"Why?"
"De ja vous," explains the Lieutenant.
"Not good then?"
"No." The Lieutenant crosses the battlefield to Gallifrey High Command.
"And you are...?" Rassilon asks.
"The Lieutenant."
Rassilon claps. "You regenerated then. Finally you learnt how to regenerate."
"No. Last time I was here, I was exterminated upon returning to my TARDIS. It killed me. I was brought to Karn where the Sisterhood ressurected me and triggered my regeneration. I controlled my regeneration. It hurt. I've been researching and realised my regenerative process was damaged severely and that I will have to return to the Sisterhood to regenerate," explains the Lieutenant.
"Why are you here?" Rassilon is confused.
"You weren't much help last time I was here last month but I'm looking for a new regenerative cycle."
"Lieutenant. Is it your incarnation turning senile? Time War. NO. GET OUT OF MY SIGHT." belows Rassilon.
"Good day to you too." The Lieutenant walks out and across the battlefield to the TARDIS.
The TARDIS dematerialises. In the TARDIS.
"Incoming message for the Lieutenant." says the TARDIS data core.
"Hello. This is the Lieutenant. Come in. State who you are."
"Lieutenant. This is Ohila."
"Ohila. What's wrong?"
"The Time War rages Lieutenant. We helped you to live. Now help us to live."
"Looks like I have no choice. Ohila, I'm on my way."
The TARDIS materialises on Karn. Looking at the scanner the Lieutenant scans the damage. "Ok. Kashline, by the time I come back I may have regenerated or be dying. If another person claiming to be The Lieutenant walks in in my clothes, It is me, ok?"
"Um."
"Good." The Lieutenant goes down the corridor and turns left, left, left, left, left, left, left, left, left, left, left, left and then right. Picks up his Long Gun and returns to the control room.
"Wish me luck." And with that he stepps out of the TARDIS.
The Time War raged. The Lieutenant remembered his promise. Kill when necessary, To act kind and warm towards neutrals.
The Lieutenant fought. All around him the gruesome bodies of residents of Karn lay rotting.
The Lieutenant was fighting for his favourite race.
The Lieutenant shot a Dalek. It blew up, blowing up about 20 others with the radiation released. The Lieutenant also got the radiation. His gun was bust. The Lieutenant walked to the convant.
"Lieutenant. Enter. How did you do?"
"Badly. I'm 503 years old now. I shot a dalek which with the impact, released radiation...and I'm dying."
"You chose the old man."
"I didn't know I would be fighting the Time War. Can I have a potion to make me a young woman before I die please?"
"Pleasure." said Ohila.
The Lieutenant drinks the potion and starts glowing orange. Is engulfed in orange regenerative energy followed by white light. The Lieutenant collapses in pain.
The Lieutenant gets up and accepts Ohila's present of an Arquebus gun.
"Lieutenant Once More."
