She wishes them well. She really does. (Or so she hopes.)

She is over Ron. Well, she never was that into him to begin with. In some way, she had always just seen him as a friend, or even a brother. Of course, he did not share her viewpoint, clearly. This is why their relationship was doomed from the start, and she knew it. He, of course, resisted, and tried everything to convince her otherwise. She walked away anyway, and with Ron, she left her relationship with the entire Weasley family behind.

Which is why she found herself rather happy when the news that Ron was with Lavender reached her. It was only then that Molly started to forgive her, too. But there was still a tiny pang of jealousy, right there, every time she sees the happy smile she gave him. The smile that has never been on her own face for him. They fit, she thinks, in a way she never could have.

Lavender, with the freckles that suit her, and don't make her look frumpy. Lavender with the curls which never look frizzy and unkempt. Lavender, who looks happy, always, even after she has just been through a war. Lavender, who has a successful relationship with Ron and a happy life ahead of her. Lavender who suddenly seems the embodiment of everything she wants and cannot have.

Lavender, the witch who Hermione Granger can not believe she is jealous of.

But she wishes them well, anyway.
