It just happened. At first it was an accident. Both Riley and Maya brushed it off not thinking of it.
Two months ago
"There wasn't a kiss!" Maya exclaimed.
"There wasn't?" Riley said clearly shocked but kind of relieved.
"No" Maya simply stated.
"What was there?" Riley said.
She wanted to know Maya was her best friend she needed to know.
"He just grabbed my head and starred at my face real close" Maya said quickly wanting to get off the topic of Lucas.
Riley not think grabbed Maya's face and pulled her forward looking at her. Then her parents came in the apartment shocking Riley so much she jumped accidentally brushing her lips with Maya's.
"Well we will just leave you to alone" Topanga said quickly pulling Cory along with her into their room.
"Riley" Maya whispered.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean for that to happen" Riley quickly replied.
"It's fine Riley" Maya said.
Now
It's like these things just kept happening but they weren't any accidents now.
