Murder in Palm Glades Florida, what better way to stop Detective Jim Longworth's round of golf. About a week ago he was dragging his golf club through the beach sand of the crime scene. A man in his thirties, buried in the sand. Jim couching down to take a closer look. something caught his eye, something poking out of the dead guys pocket. Jim reaches out and with two fingers grabs the little bag, inside was something that looked like an engagement ring and now Jim had hassled every suspect at the bar till it came down to one Dwight/Artie a thief on the run. He followed him to his stash of passports and bundles of get away money. Pulling his gun out, Artie looked up. Before Jim made his arrest. Artie throws sand into Jim's eyes, catching him off guard. Artie tackles him to the ground, throwing a punch. Jim throws him off, gets up punching him the gut. Artie recovers and throws a swing. He misses, Jim kicks him, having Artie go backwards. Artie bends down, grabs the tree branch in the sand. Jim is up right ready to hit but Artie whacks hard onto Jim's forehead, leaving Jim unconscious with a gash, bleeding hard. Decide that it was best to drag him onto the boat as a hostage situation just in case. He grabs Jim's handcuffs, handcuffs both of his hands together. Grabs his ankles and starts dragging Jim away.

Meanwhile Callie enters the bar with a piece of paper, know Dwight isn't who he said he is. She believes Jim is in trouble. Maggie the bar tender getting set up for happy hour. Callie speaks up. "Have you seen Detective Jim Longworth?" "Dwight is gone!, his boat is missing and all I have is this note and envelope full of cash."

"Maggie, Dwight isn't who he said he is, he is thief on the run and he might of took my friend. Do you know where he is?"

"I don't know."

"Think, Maggie."

"I swear I don't know where he is."

Callie took a breath and notice a picture on the wall of Dwight and Maggie. She walks over to the pic and asked. "Do you know where this was taken?" Maggie stared at the photo for a moment and recognizes the area. Wasting no time, she writes down the directions.

Back to Jim and Artie

Jim wakes up, handcuffed to the railing, soaking wet from being dragged out to the boat. He gets a good and notice that they are not from shore. So they had just left Artie's hind away spot. He notice a boat heading their direction. It looks like the coast Guard. He thought. Quickly looking around the boat, near him was his gun and badge and Artie walking towards him. "Nice to see you awake, I only need you till it is clear. Then I will let you go." He points to the ocean and laughs. Jim trips him with his legs. Artie falls and the gun slides closer to Jim. With his free hand he tries to reach for it. Artie gets up and turns towards Jim. Jim's finger grip the gun and quick points it at Artie. Artie stood there, Jim holds the gun firm and said "it's over Artie, now give me the key!" He hands him the handcuffs key, Jim grabs the key and unlocks his hand, keeping the gun pointing to Artie. Jim gets up, holding the gun in one hand and cuffs in the other. Tossing the cuffs over to Artie. "Put them on and slowly walk towards me." Artie does want he said. Then as Jim lowers his weapon, Artie walks fast and knocks the gun out of Jim's hand. Jim throws a punch hitting Artie hard in the head, He falls down to the ground, moved over to the gun and grabs it. Pointing the gun towards Jim and pulls the trigger.

Meanwhile the coast guards spot the boat, Dwight and Longworth is on. Callie came with, she didn't like how things were the last time Jim and her spoke. The thought of not be able to tell him she got the divorce with Ray so Jim and her could be together, it hurt. As they got closer, they heard the gun go off. Her heart stopped, the breaths got shorter, for a moment everything stopped moving.
