Master Hand: 12 Teams are about to embark in a journey around the Nintendo Universe. To survive they will have to trust, listen to, and help each other throughout the entire race. The winning team gets a cool $1,000,000. The teams are:
Peach & Zelda- Best Friends
Peach: Me and Zelda are going to kill the competition with kindness.
Zelda: We are going to win that mil easily.
Samus & Snake- War Veterans
Samus: Because of Master Hand, I have to be paired up with him.
Snake: C'mon Samus, you and I were born to be together.
Samus: Master Hand, my lawyers are printing a document saying I can no longer be on a team anyone who is crazy unless someone else is also sane. The contract will come into affect after the race.
Mario & Falco- Pilots
Mario: I'm-a just glad I don't have to be on the same team as-a Luigi.
Falco: Yeah and I'm glad not to be on the same team as Fox
Pikachu & Ivysaur- College Roommates
Pikachu: Hey man, this is gonna be easy.
Ivysaur: Yeah man, with this mil, we could, like, afford stuff for our dorm room.
Link & Donkey Kong- Treasure Hunters
Link: If we win this money, we could quit our jobs.
DK: Well-
Link: Fine then, we'll save the money.
DK: Wahoo!
Lucario & Jigglypuff- Neighbors
Lucario: Jigglypuff, what are you doing?
Jigglypuff: Admiring Kirby.
Lucario: Jigglypuff, you have got to get over your obsession of him!
Jigglypuff: Shut up!

Crazy Hand: Freeze!

Crazy Hand: I promised brother I'd keep you from fighting! Now stop fighting or I'll tell him to disqualify you both!

Crazy Hand: Thank you. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go count my Stuffed Unicorn collection.
Fox & Bowser- Mentors
Fox: I hope to win for my girlfriend Krystal
Bowser: I already accomplished one of my dreams, and that's to be on TV. 1 down and 9 to go.
Mewtwo & Luigi- Ghost Hunters
Mewtwo: I have to do this race with him?
Luigi: It was either-a me or-a Falcon
Mewtwo: Hmm. Touché
Gannondorf & Wolf- Friends
Gannondorf: We didn't think we could be friends.
Wolf: But then we realized we have something in common: a deep hatred towards someone.
Marth & Roy- Bounty Hunters
Marth: We're both bounty hunters who work together.
Roy: We will win by my leadership.
Marth: Yes we- wait, what?
Roy: Let's face it, you're nothing without.
Marth: You couldn't lead anything even if it was someone who followed everyone.
Roy: That doesn't make sense.
Marth: You don't make sense.
Crazy Hand: I'm not doing anything. Those guys have swords……….I don't like swords.
R.O.B. & Mr. Game & Watch- Long Lost Brothers
