AN: If it sucks feel free to tell me but try to limit it to constructive criticism, or instead of telling me ways to fix the problems you can just say what's wrong and I'll work on it, M'kay, also if the story makes it past 5 chapters and gets 50 reviews I'll look for a beta so the story will be not as shit :D .
Johnny was lying on the ground, Yosaku next to him, it'd been a day since the Straw Hats had left Cocoyashi village and Johnny was feeling depressed over his inability to do anything, "Yosaku why are we so weak?" he asked
"Eh what do you mean by that Bro?" Yosaku questioned looking very confused.
Johnny took his sunglasses off to show eyes full of unshed tears, "When Nami-chan and Zoro-aniki and everyone else needed our help we couldn't even take out the weakest fishman, we even abandoned Zoro-aniki to them to save our own skins, after he's saved us so many times".
Yosaku looked down he was frowning before he sat up and turned to Johnny "Then we'll just get stronger till Zoro-aniki needs us to save him and then we'll keep getting stronger so we will always be able to help our friends out no matter what" Yosaku declared finishing the declaration with a grin
Johnny stayed eerily still and after five seconds he sat up wiping his eyes he turned to Yosaku and said "That's the manliest thing you've ever said, I'm so proud" he was feeling a bit conflicted though after all they had no idea what kind of workout techniques would give the best results and they had no money to buy gear with
While it seemed impossible Yosaku's grin got even wider "Well I am pretty awesome aren't I"
Johnny just shook his head "If we want to get really strong we're going to have to train harder than we've ever trained before and if we quit we'd be abandoning our friends, but if we stick with it and get serious, there should be some supplies left at Arlong's Palace, even after Luffy demolished it"
Thinking about it pretty hard Johnny reasoned even if there was nothing meant for training left they could drag a massive chunk of concrete from there and use it to work out on, and it was connected to the ocean so they could go swimming and practice holding their breath for long periods of time it truly seemed to be foolproof
If anything all the speech seemed to do was make Yosaku more pumped to train, Yosaku stood up and turned to his bro "We can start training now I'll race you there" and before Johnny even had a chance to understand what was happening Yosaku was off leaving Johnny spluttering in the dust.
He quickly got up to give chase to his brother "Wait for me, Bastard" was a shout that could be heard even at Nojiko's tangerine farm.
AN: There's the prologue if you haven't guessed it stars Johnny and Yosaku as a kid I loved their characters and thought that they wouldn't let themselves be left behind after the Arlong arc, but they didn't get a single mention, I will try to have chapters around 10,000 words in length, and this chapter doesn't count to the 5 for a beta because it's very very short in comparison to what I want in chapters, and it's mostly just to set things up and provide the mood I'm going to start work on the first chapter the day after this is uploaded so it may take up to a month to be updated
