#Teen Titans
Starfire turned the last page of the book, flipped the cover shut, and only then did she look at the clock on the wall. It was not past the acceptable time to bother one of her friends. She smiled as she held the book close to her chest and flew up the stairs and stopped in front of the black painted door. She knocked rapidly, not ceasing until the knob had been turned and pulled by a familiar hooded figure.
"What do you want?" Raven asked as she peered around the edge of the door.
"Well, I have just finished this most interesting book, and because we are close with one another, I wanted to inquire as to what your personal opinion is. "
Raven sighed. "Let me see the book then." She held her hand out expectantly, and Starfire gently handed her the hardback novel. When Raven saw the title, she froze, unsure if she really wanted to have this conversation. "You didn't get this from our library, did you?"
Starfire shook her head. "No I did not. I acquired it from the public library just over the hill. "
"I see. " She opened her bedroom door wider, inviting the other girl inside. "Well, hurry up. I don't have all night." In her head, she thought, 'You knew it was coming.'
"How are you today, Robin?"
Said Titan turned around to face Starfire, who was standing with her hands laced behind her back politely, head cocked inquisitively to the side. His eyes quickly took in her appearance. She wore a kind smile along with her usual purple attire and long magenta hair which flowed almost to her feet. Where she was floating several inches above the ground, as usual. The short hemline of her skirt revealed a few inches of skin between it and her thigh-high boots, and he let his eyes linger for only a fraction of a second before swinging his gaze back up to her face.
"I'm okay today, why do you ask?"
She blinked her emerald orbs innocently, her smile becoming somewhat sheepish. "Well, I am wondering if you would do me a favor. I was reading one of the human books in the library the other day and I am now quite curious about it. "
"Sure, I guess. Curious about what?"
"Sex. "
Robin became completely still as that word hit him like a freight train. He gulped, nearly swallowing his tongue.
"Why don't you ask Raven about it then?"
"I already did, but she told me that she could not do for me what I wished for her to do. "
Robin's mind ran wild, trying to think of all the things Raven could have refused to do. He gulped again. His voice was just slightly higher than normal when he spoke. "And what is it, exactly, that you wished for her to do?"
"To help me, of coarse!"
"Help you..." He trailed off, unwilling to complete his thought lest he had the wrong one.
"To... Oh, what is the phrase? To make sex!"
"First of all, it's have sex, okay. And as for the other thing..."
Starfire continued to stare at him as he allowed himself to trail off yet again. She raised her eyebrows encouragingly, eagerly awaiting his answer.
"I mean, I guess... If you want. "
She clapped her hands together in glee. "I do, Robin! I would feel much gratitude toward you for expanding my knowledge of human emotion and sensation!"
"Yeah. So..."
"Very well, then! Follow me, Robin!" She grasped his hand in her own and pulled him behind her down the hall. His heart pounded in his chest all the way to his room.
Starfire slammed the door behind her and proceeded to strip down to only her boots. Robin gulped.
Just what have I gotten myself into here?
