MEMBERSHIP FEE
I knew something was wrong when I heard the first shout,
They circled around me; no way out,
A solid punch sent me to the floor,
I yelled stop but they wanted more,
I barley fought back, barley I screamed as my knee tore,
A dislocated shoulder, a fractured jaw,
They did not follow rules or law,
The mass surged with unrepressed rage,
As though this was a play and I were a stage,
Yells, screams and shouts echo inside my head,
They beat me and then left me for dead,
Now I know of their anger and their will to use it against me,
I regret bringing up the topic of a membership fee
