Chapter 1
A reading made by Lauren at the funeral of James Robert Anthony Adams
Although I may have tears streaming down my face, I will never be truly sad. Though I mourn his loss, his words to me one day when I was 7 make it easier to bare. For my brother always said to me see the world in Technicolor for that is what he would say to me when I was sad.
I hope I remember this o.k.
See the world in Technicolor its better than black and white.
It shows you the real world, full of emotion; it shows them in a harsher light
So please don't live in black and white for we are not ruled by sadness and despair
So do one thing for me
Look into the light
See the world in Technicolor
Don't dwell in black and white
I think James would like us to remember the happy, fun, scary, dangerous, mad and angry times he shared with us. I think he would like us to remember in Technicolor, as a whirlwind of emotion, not by the sadness brought by his death for he hated black and white.
