Tamina Tanaka. The name rung out of the loudspeakers at Kaiba Corp. Seto Kaiba glanced at his watch. She was early.
20 Minutes early actually.
He paged his receptionist and said,
"What is she doing here so early? She's not due for another twenty minutes." It was not a question, it was a statement with a hidden command.
"She says its important Mr. Kaiba."
"Important enough to interrupt my work?" he asked, his voice icy.
"Mr. Kaiba, she's the company you're planning to merge with…she—MS TANAKA!"
"Sylvie! What's going on?" snapped Kaiba. After a few moments of silence Sylvie came back on and said slightly breathlessly,
"Mr. Kaiba, Ms. Tanaka is on her way up."
Kaiba chose not to answer but turned off the speaker. A knock jogged him from his slightly murderous thoughts. He stood up and started to open it but it opened in front of him. He reeled back in shock and said,
"How dare you barge into this office without warning."
The rather pretty girl with blonde curly hair and ocean green eyes said coolly,
"If I'm to merge with you Kaiba, I'd prefer that you were kept at my constant beck and call."
"Do I look like a dog to you?"
"No. I've seen more attractive ones, but while you want to merge with my expanding company, I expect you to be available at all times."
"Rather demanding are we?"
"Not demanding. I'm not demanding. I know its going to happen. Right?"
Kaiba sent a cold look at her and said curtly,
"Sit."
She raised an eyebrow at him, but sat down, crossing her legs, and taking out a small handheld laptop.
"June sixth." She typed, reading aloud, "Notes for meeting between Tanaka and Kaiba."
Kaiba watched her and said sharply,
"My lawyers are typing all of the work up. Why are you here?"
"I'd prefer that you talked to me like a friend, rather than an intruder."
"Most friends wouldn't barge into my office like this."
"I'm here to discuss the merging."
"Obviously."
She continued as if she hadn't heard him, "Anyway, I want Tanaka Enterprises to have 48 of all the income."
"I thought we agreed on 45." Said Kaiba, taking his seat across from her.
"As you may remember, I said I'd talk to the people who work with me."
"I have official records of our conversation." Stated Kaiba, his eyes darkening into slits at her incessant lying.
"Obviously, this isn't going to work out Mr. Kaiba." Said Tamina, standing up with a snap of her cell phone which she had began talking into.
Seto watched her with a strange look on his face.
"Tamina, are you doing this out of spite? For what happened between…us?"
"Dear god Set-Kaiba! Don't you try and make this personal! Don't you dare make this personal!" she said, her voice rising. She stood up, "This is between businesses. And this is over. Us, our merge! Anything! Its done!" she turned, her briefcase in hand.
She had disappeared from Japan 2 weeks later. Last Seto Kaiba had heard, she was working in America and rising quickly.
"She's back."
Twenty-one year old Seto Kaiba read an email from his secretary. This was only one "she"…
Authoress' Note: Yeah, I'm back with this, I thought that this idea might make it big. I'm not a huge fan of OC pairings, but this may work. D I hope all my loyal readers come back with me. Love you all, excuse the bad grammer and the horrible spacing..
