E/O Challenge – Road Trip
Driving in relative silence for a while, Dean suddenly pulled the Impala over, made a u-turn and started back the way they'd come.
"What's going on?" Sam asked, not yet able to read his brother's expressions the way he used to.
"We need a break," Dean answered. "Where to?"
"But Dean, the apocalypse…"
"Will still be there."
"The Colt…"
"Could be anywhere."
"Hunts?"
"We need this, Sam. We need a road trip. Just a basic, normal (pause and smirk) devil-who-cares? road trip. You in?"
Sam smiled. "I'm in."
"Chicago?"
"Grand Canyon?"
(pause, then in unison)
"Vegas!"
Dean punched the accelerator.
