Disclaimer: I own them. No I don't! I soooo do! I'm telling me right now that I DO NOT own them! Fine, whatever I say!

Author's Note: I though of this ages ago but kept forgetting every time I made it to a computer. I also had a knack for never having a pen around.

The Seductress

Lucile Masters sat at the Welcoming Feast his a bored expression. Actually, the feast hadn't started yet and the students hadn't even arrived. McGonagall, Hooch and the plump little witch, Sprout, had asked her to come down to the Great Hall early so they could chat and get to know her.

"…And you're a very attractive young witch. I'm sure you get wizard's attentions all the time." Lucile was indeed very attractive. She was tall, blonde, thin with curves in all the right places, blue eyes, full lips and firm breasts.

"Yes. It can be quite annoying," was all she said.

The three witches were having a discussion about Merlin knows what. Lucile thought the whole affair was very boring, and the witches knew that. Not that the newcomer hadn't made it very obvious.

The rest of the teachers started to gather in the hall. They had all greeted her and welcomed her to the staff. She merely smiled and nodded.

A man by the name of Remus Lupin had fumbled over his greeting and attempted to make small talk. It was very obvious to Lucile that he was attracted to her. 'Like every man!' she thought. Lupin had sat next to her.

"Hello Remus. Good to see you again," the McGonagall woman said to him.

"Here, here," Sprout, the plump lady, toasted with her water glass.

Then a tall, greasy, dark haired man walked in, black robed flowing behind him. Not immediately attractive but had his own air that could seduce.

She raised an eyebrow. The wizard glanced at her before walking straight passed without saying a word.

Lucile stared after him but he didn't look, just started talking to McGonagall in hushed tones.

"Who's he?" she asked Remus.

"Oh Severus. He's the potions professor, Severus Snape. A master actually."

"Really?" she said, more to herself than anyone but Remus took it as a queue to start a conversation.

"Yes. He's brilliant. He is kind enough to make me wolfsbane every month because I'm a werewolf as you probably know. Everyone knows."

"I didn't actually," she replied coldly. She was ignoring him in favour of watching the Potion's Master. Obviously Remus didn't get the hint because he was still talking to her.

"Who's she?" Severus whispered to Minerva.

"Her? Lucile Masters. New Charms professor. Oh of the rudest young witches I've ever had the displeasure to come across."

"Really? She looks a bit of an airhead."

"Don't be fooled. I get the feeling she's very calculating," Minerva replied.

"What makes you say that?"

"Call it a woman's intuition.

Severus snorted.

Just then, students began to file in and take their places at their respective house tables.

"I better go for the first years."

Severus nodded.

Lucile hardly listened as Dumbledore made his speech, after the first year sorting.

"…So let the feast begin." The headmaster sat down and Remus immediately began to talk to Lucile again.

"So what's Professor Snape like?" Lucile interrupted Remus.

Remus looked startled but was glade that she had finally started to speak.

"Well, he's the quiet type. Grumpy at the best of times. Prefers his own company."

"Is he involved?"

"What?" Remus asked. "Why do you want to know?"

"Just curious," she replied. "He makes quiet an entrance."

Remus laughed. "That he does. No he's not involved."

"He will be soon enough," she muttered to herself with a smirk.
