FOUR

It's been almost a month since classes have started. I'm passing all of them and am highest student in all of the fifth years. I'd be the smartest in the school if Hermione Granger didn't barely pass in Herbology. I'm barely making it in Divination, so we're tied for top. I don't want to be the best anyway, what does it prove anyway? You have the best grades. What does it promote? A huge self ego. It doesn't matter to me if I have the best grades, if I do, then good for me, I don't need all of Hogwarts to know.

Draco and I haven't really been talking at all. He's always somewhere, just not wherever I am. I'm not sure if he doesn't want to see my because of what happened I front of Snape five weeks ago or if he actually doesn't care for me anymore. I hope it's option number one, I can't afford to lose another person.

How am I barely passing Divination you ask? Well, every time we read tea leaves or palms, Professor Trelawney uses me as an example and tells me that Sirius sends me a message. Then I either get mad or sad or both and leave. I hate her. And she's crazy. Psychotic.

I walk to the courtyard to work on my paper when I hear footsteps thundering behind me. Four arms pick me up and blindfold me. They put a rag in my mouth and then I start to move around and kick. The people bring me to another person and do a hand-off. Then a door opens and my blindfold is taken off and the gag out.

"Who are you-" I say roughly putting up my fists to fight.

"Calm down, calm down." a soothing voice says behind me.

Draco's breath is warm on my neck and his hands slide up my arms onto my shoulder where they move my hair to the left side. He kisses the spot under my ear lobe then my neck before turning me to face him. He then kisses my mouth and rests his hands on my neck. I pull away before he gets to...how should I say this without sounding weird...passionate.

"Draco..."

"Black..."

"We need to talk about why you weren't talking to me near the end of the summer than you kissed me and then ignored me for five weeks. Now you have people gagging and blindfolding me and bringing me to the Room of Requirements for you."

"Lily, my father told me that no matter what I grew up to be or who I grew up to marry, I'd always be a Malfoy, and I'd be adding onto the line of Malfoy's when I got married and had children with my wife. I always was so proud to be called a Malfoy and to think that one day I'd make little Malfoy's... but now I'm not to sure about wanting to bring up children in the kind of family that I have...I don't want to risk it...so when I ignore or I make you feel like you're alone, it's because I'm trying to protect you."

"Malfoy..." I say wrapping my arms around his shoulders.

"It's okay. No need to talk..."
