The day is done, the students off. Onizuka sits, by himself, in a vacant seat near the front of the room. The dim remnants of sunlight glimmer softly on the desks. He slouches, his mental spirit empty for now. Images flash through his mind, scenes of the day gone by. The joy, the laughter, the stress, the pain. The day. He did his best for himself and his students, and now the day is done. Onizuka is not one to reflect, but the emotions reach him just the same. He sighs deeply, a sigh filled with contentment, happiness, regret. He walks slowly in the fading light to pick up his bag before finally going home.
The day is done, the students home. And Onizuka...Onizuka is the best teacher ever.
At least...he's done his day's work.
