"Ash, are you sure about inviting our families here for thanksgiving?" Serena asked nervously. They were currently in a log cabin on a hill in Kalos. They were going on vacation to get away from the media and press. When you are the Kalos Queen and Champion respectively you couldn't live a normal life anymore, it was impossible.
"I'm sure, what can go wrong?" Ash responded carefree.
"Uhh, the press could find us, our families won't get along. So many things." Serena replied nervously. "Can we please just cancel this?"
"Why, I thought you were excited for our parents to finally meet?" Ash replied obliviously.
"The stress is just too much. I know this holiday is about being thankful, but I just can't take it anymore! Can't you understand?" Serena blurted out unable to hold it in anymore.
"We can cancel it, I'll go let our parents know." Ash replied about to walk away before Serena grabbed his arm.
"I'm sorry Ash, I know I have so many things to be thankful for, but I'm just being selfish." Serena said awkwardly, embarrassed of what she had just done.
"No need to apologize, this thanksgiving there is only one thing I am thankful for." Ash replied in a kind voice.
"What is it?" Serena asked curiously.
"I'm thankful for you." Ash replied pulling Serena in for a kiss. After a few minutes of standing there they released there kiss. Blushing at each other Serena only had one more thing to say.
"You know what Ash?" Serena asked.
"What Sere?" Ash replied.
"Me too." Serena responded as she hooked arms with Ash to go talk to their parents. Later that evening they had an amazing feast and they were at ease. All they were was thankful, for each other

Thank you so much for reading my first One-shot. I figured since Amour shipping I my fav ship I should use it for my one-shot. I know it's not the best, but I wanted to do something for thanksgiving so I made this at the last minute.
