III INCESTOUS SLASH

He sees Jessica dying.

He sees Jessica pinned to the ceiling, gutted, and still dying.

He sees fire, Jessica pinned to the ceiling, gutted, and she's still dying.

Everything he sees, he knows is "real" but he's always been stubborn; so when he wakes up, he tells himself that over and over again that it's just a nightmare. And soon he begins to believe it.

He starts to sprinkle salt on the window sills but then he catches himself and Jessica never sees the white crystals.

He sees Dean in front of him, still alive and kicking and he forgets about his nightmares because his older brother is right here in front of him. So he goes with Dean to find their father and he leaves Jessica alone without a single "I love you." Then the next thing he knows he's pressed flush against Dean's perfect form and the outside world just melts away into nothingness.

By the time he remembers a girl named Jessica even exists, it's too late. He feels no guilt afterwards though because Dean is there and a part of him never wants to let go again.

He sees Jessica dying.

And it's for real this time. He feels the heat from the fire burning his face as the flames consume her. He cries out her name and tries to tell her to stay, that he's sorry; but then he hears his brother's voice and he can no longer be bothered.

He jerks awake and sees his brother pretending to be asleep.

He feels his body move of its own accord and he is once again pressed against his brother's body, a hunter's body, a body he had once memorized, but the memory has grown blurry some time during the past few years and he feels a need to renew it.

He hates himself just a little for not being more upset about Jessica's death. But then he feel's Dean's lips against his own and Samuel Winchester knows that he'll never leave his brother again, because even though he was ready to marry Jess, it was Dean that flashed through his mind when he came.

It had always been Dean. Always.
