This is my first story. I don't own any Square Enix characters, and this story was made to show the similarities between this song and Roxas's life.

I open my eyes
I try to see but I'm blinded by the white light
I can't remember how
I can't remember why
I'm lying here tonight
"Another dream about him..." Roxas wakes up one morning trying to figue out the dream he had last night.
And I can't stand the pain
And I can't make it go away
No I can't stand the pain
"You were never supposed to exist Roxas." Namine's voice echoed in his ears.
How could this happen to me?
"But...I don't get what's been happening lately."
I've made my mistakes
I've got no where to run
"You can't turn on the Organization!" Axel tries hard to stop his friend from leaving.
The night goes on
As I'm fading away
"HAYNER, PENCE, OLETTE!"
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me?
"Right...Promise." Roxas swings around a invisible weapon. "What a mess."
Everybody's screaming
"Hey, sorry about yesterday."
"What you still worried about that? You need to learn to let that stuff go."
"I've got a lot on my mind"
"Sorry man. Wait what am I sorry for." Hayner gave Roxas a kind simile.
I try to make a sound but no one hears me
I'm slipping off the edge
I'm hanging by a thread
"Yesterday, I fell off the station tower, didn't I?"
"You wouldn't be here if you did."
"But man. that was a close one..."
I wanna start this over again
So I try to hold on
To a time when nothing mattered
"You know, that last wonder wasn't exactly wonderful."
"I understand, say no more! But this next one's gonna be great!"
And I can't explain what happened
And I can't erase the things that I've done
No I can't
"Why? Why do you have the keyblade?" A blind-folded boy shouted at him from the ground.
"Shut up!" Roxas shouted back at the boy. Then their fight continued.
How could this happen to me?

You get on their bad side and they'll destroy you!
As I'm fading away
"It's just, I think I've been running from the question I really want to ask : What's going to happen to me now?"

A nobody doesn't have the right to know! Nor does it have the right to be.
But what is a nobody?
How could this happen to me?
Roxas, nobodies like us are only half a person. You won't disappear, you'll be whole!

"This is...me? And Axel's here too."

"No one knows me better than me."
"Of course." Namine responed trying to sound happy.
As I'm fading away
"Man, i could not sleep last night...Guys," Roxas picks up a picture of him and his friends and finds himself no longer in this picture.
I'm sick of this life
I just wanna scream
How could this happen to me?
"Sora, you're lucky. Guess my summer vacation is...over.
