A/N: So I had to write a poem for my advanced creative writing class, about a myth, legend, or pop icon. I chose Emmett Cullen because well…he's easy to put into hilariously interesting (and uncomfortable) situations.
Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight!
He relaxed in the field of flowers,
Immersing himself in their pleasant scent.
Psyched that Edward was out for the day,
So that he could tell his family that he was going hunting—
Without getting caught in the lie.
So here he stood,
Grizzly wrestling Emmett Cullen,
Frolicking in a vast sea
Of daises, lilies, and daffodils.
He would never partake in such activities
If his family were around.
But he doesn't see the golden eyes
That are following his every move.
She steps out of the shadows,
Beautiful Rosalie (Emmett's wife),
And asks the question we are all thinking…
"Emmett, what the hell are you doing?!"
He whips around,
And gives his ingenious answer:
"Rose...I swear it's not what it looks like!"
She rolls her eyes,
And turns around, thinking to herself:
Just walk away Rose,
Just walk away.
