The darkness befell Smash Mansion as the sun disappeared behind the mountains. Everyonehad turned in for the day and were now sleeping peacefully in bed. At least...almost everyone...

'I can't believe I got back so late...' Samus (in her Zero Suit) thought sullenly as she dragged herself up to her room. She had been out hunting for Ridley all day, only to have found out she had been sent on a wild goose chase by Diddy Kong and Olimar.

Clenching her fists, she thought, 'I am so going to teach those two little faggots a lesson tomorrow!'At the top of the stairs, though, Samus's anger towards the two short Smashers when she saw a familiar face.

Sitting in the middle of the hall was Lucas, crying to himself with his knees drawn up to his chest. His little body was shaking all over. Walking up to him, Samus asked, "Lucas...are you alright?" Lucas looked up at her and he immediately burst out into sobs again.

"Ahh...ahh...I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please don't cry!" Samus quickly exclaimed; she was really bad at comforting people, considering she spent most of her life just trying to comfort herself. Lucas sniffled a bit and quietly replied, "I...I'm sorry...I was just surprised..."

Since they couldn't really talk in the hallway, Samus lead Lucas into her own room to chat. Lucas felt a bit uncomfortable being in the older woman's bedroom, since he wasn't even sure he was allowed to walk any further than the doorway.

"It's okay," Samus said with a slight chuckle, "I won't hurt you. You can sit next to me on the bed..." Lucas stood still for a few more moments before he finally walked over and sat down. His eyes were still brimming with tears. Samus pat him on the head gently and asked, "...So, why were you sitting on the floor crying back there, Lucas-chan?"

"Well..."

Lowering his eyes to the floor, Lucas began to explain his perdicament: "You see...this is my first night at Smash Mansion, so I felt a bit scared. I missed my family...I wanted to see if I could find Ness's room and talk to him, but I ended up getting lost...I'm sorry for troubling you..."

Samus thought this was rather strange. "Isn't...Ness's room just across from yours?"

Lucas nodded and explained, "Yes, but...I was just about there when I heard Fox in his room moan out about how he hates doing 'barrel rolls', and I got creeped out. I'm not too sure what happeend afterwards...I just know I never got into Ness's room..."

Samus sighed, amazed with how idiotic some of her fellow smashers could be. Checking her watch, she saw it was almost time for HER to arrive. 'Yeesh...I need to wrap things up here...' Samus thought nervously. She quickly stuffed some candy into Lucas's palms and scooted him out the door.

"Good luck in finding happiness, Lucas!" Samus called as the poor blonde boy walked into the dark hallway, confused on what just happened. Letting out a sigh of relief, Samus collapsed down on her bed and began removing her zero suit, revealing her frilly pink underwear.

After a few minutes, the door slowly slid open. A figure stepped inside and moved on top of Samus, kissing her gently on the lips. "Ah...Samus, I missed you so much today...I apologize I came late, though. I wanted to make sure I was extra good for tonight..."

Samus giggled and replied, "No...it's okay, Zelda. I was just trying to cheer up that Lucas kid before you came, anyway..."

As these two women began to make out, neither of them knew that Lucas had gotten lost once again...
