It started as a prank and a dare. Sirius was to go up in front of the whole school on karaoke night and sing one ridiculous song and then sit down. But he saw it as an opportunity, to profess his love to Remus Lupin. So as he stood on stage and began to sing, he locked eyes with the love of his life, and hopefully, soon-to-be lover.

He swayed rhythmically with the music, watching Remus flush in confusion.

Realization seemed to dawn on Remus and, slowly, he began to smile, the flush turning into a faint pink.

By now, the other students noticed that Sirius was watching Remus. The Slytherins sneered and gagged in mock disgust before leaving the room. Others grinned and pushed Remus to the front of the crowd.

Sirius grinned and held a hand out to Remus, winking at him, making the pink on his cheeks darken slightly.
