Aris

All rays of the sun shone brightly that day. Demeter was taking a stroll through a forest in Greece, when she suddenly heard the sound of a crying baby. She ran to pick up the baby. As she nurtured it, she continue her walk to the end of the forest. Demeter wondered what could have happened or how the baby got here. All she knew was that this baby was indeed, a God. She decided to name him Aris.

Only a few weeks after rescue, Aris started to reveal his powers, though nobody noticed.

Demeter lay bent near her garden, nurturing and harvesting some plants. Aris lay nearby in a bed of plants, peacefully. A ray of sun shines on his finger, burning his skin. Aris grows uncomfortable and starts to cry. Demeter turns around to return to Aris, when she notices that all weeds, vines, and grass have grown to an unimagineable size. Assuming she must have done it and it was a coincidence, she ignores it.

Many years went by, and Hestia offered to take Aris off of Demeter's hands for a while and care for him. Aris was happy this was happening and willingly went along. Hestia walked out of the house and noticed that the whole house had been shrouded in vines and branches. Bushes and trees with fruits lay spread across all around the house. Hestia thought it was the works of Demeter and that she was simply decorating, she continued along.

Aris, with the permission of Demeter and Hestia, left Olympus and started to explore the mortal world.

The young boy fell asleep in a forest, where he was quickly awoken by a group of hunters. Aris his behind a deer and a boulder, trying to sneak a peak at the mortals.

"There it is... I've been waiting forever, you little brat." one of the hunters said.

"Dude, just shoot the arrow at it! It might run away. I won't get in the way, haha." The other responded.

The taller of the hunters drew back his arrow as Aris turned around, not wanting to experience the death of an innocent, peaceful animal.

The arrow flew through the air, and shot straight through the deer's heart. The arrow had too much projection and speed and continued flying. It pierced Aris's spine.

Aris let out a yelp and he turned around and saw the deer lay on the ground, helpless and dead. The two hunters stand in fright and confusion as they witness an arrow turn to dust, and an arrow wound through a young boy, disappear.

Aris was mad. He angered his facial expressions and made his hands into a fist. His face turned to a dark red. The hunters stood back to back, staring at the environment as the trees and vines begin to grow. The vines started to strangle the two men and they quickly fell to the ground, breathless.

The whole forest turned into a dark shadow.

Hermes, while on a delivery to a God, encountered the scene, and quickly warned the gods to come down to the mortal world and stop Aris.

Demeter, Hestia, Zeus, Dionysus, and Hermes all stand in front of Aris and the two dead men.

Aris falls to the ground and the forest grows back to normal.

"What is wrong with this boy?" screamed Hermes.

"Obviously, there something special about him." Dionysus replied.

Zeus goes to pick up Aris as he holds him in his arms.

"This boy, clearly an offspring of Demeter..." he continues..

"What..?" Questions Demeter.

"Since Demeter is Goddess of Harvest, Growth and Nourishment, and Aris seems to have similar powers, He shall be.. the God of Vines and Fruit."

All five Gods return to Palace Of Olympus to celebrate the discovery of another God.
