Luna Lovegood sat in the corridor crying, hidden behind a pillar after the physical abuse from Draco Malfoy and his goons she wanted to hide, she hugged her knees to her chest and sobbed softly.
It was after potions when she heard about Draco's abuse and she left the classroom in a hurry.
The brunette sighed, normally she was angry and cruel to everyone, everyone but Luna Lovegood, she hated seeing her suffer, she bit her top lip with her bottom teeth she hated having a crush on Loony Lovegood.
She followed the quiet crying and found the blonde slouched over crying, she leaned down on one knee and gently took the girl's hands away from her face, "Whats wrong,"
Luna blinked her wide blue eyes at the cruel slytherin,"Why?"
But Pansy shushed her and smiled lightly,"Let's just say I've got a thing for the crazies," she smiled and helped Luna stand up, "Come on lets go take care of you," she said.
Luna smiled at her,"Thankyou." she said to the Slytherin who smiled at her,"So what are you doing here anyway, isnt this when all you slytherins gather around and plot your evils,"
Pansy raised one dark eyebrow and tossed back her head her mane of long dark hair fell across her back."Do you really think that's what we do?" she asked with a giggle.
Luna smiled,"No I just wanted to make you smile," she said. The pair walked in silence until they got to Pansy secret spot around the herbology greenhouse,"This is what I do," she said with a sweet smile.
Luna's eyes lit up,"Really? So you do have a good side, is herbology your best class." The slytherin nodded as she tended to her potted creatures. Luna smiled a bit seeing the sweet, caring side of Pansy Parkinson.
They stayed there for an hour talking quietly and laguhing amongst each other,"So tell me." Pansy said suddenly as they were getting their stuff and preparing to return to their common rooms.
"Yes?" Luna asked looking up as she adjusted her rose tinted glasses.
"Why did you want me to smile? Earlier I mean," Pansy adjusted her hairband and smiled at her, giving Luna Lovegood a rare honest smile.
Luna's face went red,"Well...I've always had a crush," she was stammering and Pansy took the moment to push the blonde against the pillars, her lips gently covering hers.
"Me too." was all the brunette said as she pulled away, "Me too."
Luna giggled like a schoolgirl.
"Tommorrow?"
Pansy shook her head and took her stuff in her arms, her other hand holding Luna's, they walked all the way to the schooldoors hand in hand, when they finally reached the doors they both gave a sad smile.
Luna kissed Pansy gently and smiled sadly as she hugged the Slytherin girl.
Pansy moved Luna's hair from her ear,
"Tonight."
