Jaspers POV
''Jasper, Alice wake up or you will be late for school'' ugh I internally groaned I really do not want to go to school today I rolled over to face Alice ''Ali, wake up darlin' its time for school'' I whispered gently shaking her shoulder she groaned '' no jazzy'' I laughed ''yes baby come on get up'' I pulled back the covers and realised she was covered in sweat I frowned ''Alice are you alright'' she just shook her head ''why, what's wrong?'' ''don't…feel…well'' she mumbled I reached out and brushed her sweaty hair out of her face and felt her forehead ''Alice your burning up, hang on baby stay there I'll be right back'' I ran to the bathroom and opened the 2nd cabinet and grabbed the thermometer before returning to Alice.
''Alice sweetie can you open your mouth I want to take your temperature'' she opened her mouth slightly and I placed the thermometer under her tongue and waited until it beeped before removing it from her mouth '' Alice, your temperatures 102.4 I'm going to get Carlisle to have a look at you alright?'' she shook her head which was obviously a bad idea because she turned a strange shade of green ''Bathroom'' she squeaked I gently picked her up bridal style and rushed her to the bathroom where she threw up I rubbed small circles on her back until she has finished then I carried her back to her bedroom ''Alice stay here okay I'm going to get Carlisle she just groaned I quickly kissed her forehead and ran to Carlisle's study.
Carlisle's POV
I was downstairs preparing breakfast for the kids when Jasper rushed down the stairs ''Jasper why are you still in your pyjamas, and where's Alice? ''Carlisle, Alice is really sick can you take a look at her?'' I frowned Alice hardly ever got sick ''yea sure I'll be right up'' Jasper nodded and ran back upstairs I went into my study to grab my bag and followed after him. When I opened the door I saw Alice curled up in a ball on the bed which made her look even smaller than she already was. She looked up at me and whimpered ''Daddy it hurts'' I went to sit beside her ''what hurts baby?'' I whispered stroking her forehead ''everything'' I sighed and turned to Jasper ''did you take her temperature?'' he nodded ''yea, it was 102.4'' I frowned that was quite high. I turned back to Alice ''what hurts the most Alice?'' I asked ''stomach'' she whispered ''can I have a look?'' she nodded her head and slowly rolled onto her back and pulled up her top slightly ''I need you to tell me when it hurts okay'' 'Kay'' I gently pressed onto her stomach and all was fine until I reached the centre where she let out a small cry '' she just has the stomach flu she should be fine in a few days, you can go to school Japer I will look after her for the day'' ''okay'' he came over to Alice and kissed her forehead '' see you later sweetheart get well soon'' she smiled ''bye jazz I love you'' he grinned ''I love you too darlin'' and he walked out the door waving at Alice one last time.
''get some sleep baby I'll come back and check on you soon'' I pulled the covers back over her but she just shoved them back off ''too hot'' she moaned ''okay then do you want to come downstairs where it's a bit colder?'' she nodded and lifted up her arms saying she wanted to be carried I laughed and scooped her up into my arms and she nuzzled her head in my chest. I carried her downstairs and lay her on the couch with a very light blanket on top of her ''I'm going to get you a cold cloth for your forehead'' I went into the kitchen and ran the cloth under the cold water and returned to Alice and lay it on her forehead she sighed ''thank you'' ''anything to make you feel better'' I sat down beside her and held the cloth to her forehead. She crawled onto my lap and wrapped her small arms around my neck ''I love you Daddy'' she whispered I smiled ''I love you too baby girl''
