Chapter 1
All of the family members and people who have known Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have met into a small room. They will be watching over them as they face new challenges with their children. "I miss her," Rue says. "But I know that she and her kids will change the world even more." Rue sniffles a small cry. Up in heaven, all of the tributes were sent here after their death. Some people still have not accepted the fact that they're dead. Cato for instance, he believes he's still alive. In fact, he has been planning to propose to Clove, they've been dating since the first week all of us arrived.
"I do too." Prim cries. "She was more than my sister, she was my friend." As Prim says this, Finnick walks over and gives her a hug, and a small sugar cube. Nobody really knows where he got them, did the man in charge give them to him? None of them have ever met him, but they've heard many great things. "Thank you, Finnick." Prim sighs.
"Why are we here? We weren't friends with twelve." Cato practically yells. He's pacing, maybe he thinks he's going to hell? No, we were promised by the angel who brought us here that we'd be safe here. We would never have to leave, ever. "Me and Clove have dinner reservations at seven."
"Of course you do," Glimmer says to herself. She has been so jealous of Cato and Clove ever since she died. She believes it should've been her to date Cato. God, she's such a brat. "Anyways, me and..." Glimmer scans the room. "Prim will be going out to lunch to. Yeah that's right. Twelve's sister is my friend. Lets go Prim" And just like that, Glimmer reached for the door only to be shocked with an electric doorknob. "What the hell?"
"We haven't been given permission to leave yet, we were called here for a reason." Prim reminds her. As if on cue, an angel appears out of nowhere.
"Hello children. You're probably wondering why I called you here, am I correct?" Everyone nods, she continues. "Well, Heaven has decided to give you another chance. Things are finally clearing up in Panem, thanks to Katniss and Peeta. We decided that bringing back her friends and family, who have perished at young age, would be a great thank you for her help."
"Does this mean that our father will be coming back too?" Prim asks eagerly.
"No, Primrose, I'm sorry but he will not be joining you. Now, we will leave in exactly one hour and thirty seven minutes. Please be here on time and be ready to leave." The angel leaves and they are completely silent for a moment.
"What just happened?" Marvel asks.
"We're getting another chance. We're going back to Panem, we can make a difference just like Katniss!" Rue exclaims. "She will be so excited to see us!"
"Some of us," Cato sighs. "What about us though? Me, Clove, Marvel, and Glimmer. She won't be excited to see us."
"And how do we explain that we all came back from the dead." Thresh adds. They're all right. This will be very difficult to do, especially since she saw most of us die.
"We'll just have to see what happens." Finnick finishes. And that's it, we're really going back. We all get a new life. But it might be difficult, some of our families might've died during the uprising. What will we do then? This will not be an easy beginning for us, but in time it will get better. We hope.
