"Wait a minuet Nigel!" Bug exclaimed suddenly, examining a beetle closely.
"What for, love?" the pale man asked, nose buried in a think book, just like it had been all day.
"Look at this." He held up the bug for Nigel to see.
The other man got up with a sigh, stretching his back as he did so. "It's a bug, Bug." he said from across the table. "Does it have some thing to do with that girl who was found earlier?"
"No," Bug replied quietly, holding the bug even closer to his face. "it's some thing else... . Come look."
The pale man sighed again and slowly walked around the table, bending over to rest his elbows on it as he did so. His eyebrows furrowed as he stared at the insect in his friend's hand. "I see nothing out of the ordinary. Is it not indigenous to this area?"
"No, it is."
"Than what is so fascinating about this little guy?"
Bug didn't reply.
"Bug? Love, are you all right?" Nigel raised his eyes to look up at Bug's when suddenly a pair of warm lips came crashing down on his own.
Nigel was shocked for all of two seconds before smiling into the kiss and pulling the shorter man closer.
Bug pulled back slowly. "Better?"
"What?" Nigel asked, resting his chin on Bug's black hair. "I'm not sure what you mean Buggles."
"You looked stressed out," the Indian man stated, running his hands through the other's long hair. "Just thought I could help ease some stress."
Nigel smiled and kissed his partner again. "Well, that's all well and good, love, but why the bug? You could have just told me to come over and snog you."
Bug grinned up at Nigel. "Because it's easier than standing up on my toes to kiss you."
"Not that you mind?"
"No. Not that I mind... ."
