"Sir I think something is wrong here." Major Carter announced to her commanding officer.
"What makes you say that carter?" O'Neal asked, although he had a pretty good idea of what it was. This may just have been the creepiest planet they had ever been to. A perfectly operational city, with electric lights and still running vehicles surrounded them, but as with a previous city they had been to not a soul was present, not a human soul at least. They had seen about a thousand animals, some seemingly failure and others exceedingly strange.
"Well sir it may have something to do with the fact that this is very similar to the planet that Teal'c was nearly turned into a bug on." Daniel guessed.
"I knew that Daniel; I was trying to have a conversation."
"Oh, right, sorry Jack." Daniel replied sheepishly.
"No, I don't think that's it sir, look at those animals- there!" Carter gestured to the roof of one of the factory like buildings. "Right there that hawk like thing, it's eyes are following us, and that thing their." She pointed ahead of them. "It's staring at us too, and none of them have moved at all that we've seen, don't you think that's strange?"
"You are very observant ma'am, I congratulate you." A strong voice said from behind the team, causing them to whorl around, and faces a creature that seemed to be straight out of some weirdo's nightmares. It was absolutely incredible, it appeared to me a scorpion, only this creature was easily 30 feet across from it's 4 left feet to its four right feet. And 10 feet tall with a tail that reached from behind it all the way to its head.
Sam Teal'c and Jack had there weapons rased immediately at the beast.
"Who said that?"
"i am currently in the form of the Gestada, the creature you see before you. My warriors inhabit this city and have you surrounded, please, tell me what your purpose here is."
Um, okay" Daniel began while the other 3 members of the team kept there weapons trained, "we are peaceful explorers from the a planet called ear-"
"YOu are Sg-1? thank the heavens you are here, the Go'ulds have come!"
