Call Me When You're Sober
He was drunk. Absolutely, positively completely drunk. The smell of liquor seemed to ooze out of his pores.
She really didn't care at first. She believed he would stumble his way through a shower and into bed, falling asleep before his head hit the pillow.
She was wrong.
Rather than stumble to the bathroom, he stumbled into her, groping and sloppy and scaring her. And that their third was passed out in the opposite room scared her even more. She tried to run from him, tried to escape, tried to fly!
But he caught her, and like the caged bird he said he was, she trilled and screamed for her freedom.
