In a small little village there was a train station. Sitting on a bench were two two young girls who are waiting for their deaths but they don't know it not yet. A sulky looking teenage cat named Allie with long black raven hair and multiple piercings on her on her ears. How is the type of girl who never shows her emotions much.
Sitting next to Allie is a little red-haired otter girl with her hair in pigtails in the back of her head. Wearing denim overalls underneath a purple shirt. The little girl's name is Peyton and she's nine years old well 9 years and 3 months but who's counting.
Allie is lamenting why she has to become a North Wind agent at the age of 13 and still in 7th grade. "Better than juvie I guess" Allie thinks she and the other girl were on the same cart the girls are waiting. Really understands that she has to pay back her debts to society she did something awful no she didn't kill anyone. But the judge treated her like she did the same judge that sentenced her Allie can leave The North Wind when she turns 21. Allie understands that even when she leaves no boss would hire her no College will accept he she's a felon according to Canada.
Agent classified was reading the girls files. "This is absolute rubbish the reason Alice isn't agent is not because she went through the academy it's because she stole a car and the judge doesn't want to put up with her, Peyton on the other hand has been through the foster care system multiple times and yet they don't want to put her in another foster home" classified is not surprised not at all it's a common practice but not the best one.
Classified leaves the jet and sees the girls. "Hello ladies i'm here to take you to the base to get you checked out" he sees that allie is a cat well, "Corporal is going to have lots of fun with you" Classified thinks handcuffing the teenager. "Excuse me sir why are you handcuffing Allie?" Peyton inquired. A part of them told him to tell the truth the other part told him to tell a lie.
"So I won't escape" Ally said to the girl.
" Let's go with that for now" Classified tells the girl.
"This is ridiculous Alice just got out of juvenile hall" Classified mutters handing the girls contracts agent under the age of 25 or given them and are called underages.
the contracts had all the rules and regulations
"As a North Wind agent is my responsibility and Duty to do my job right if I don't do my job right there are Consequences. Those consequences include losing privileges or getting fired. I understand that I am under the age of 25 and cannot do certain things the reason you can't do those things is to protect yourself and others. If in the unfortunate event that you happen to die the Animal Welfare organization is not responsible however your family will be compensated" the contract read. Allie signs the contract since she had no choice at all in the matter. Neither did Peyton.
"Ok ladies we will arrive at the base shortly and your training starts on the morning" Classified states. "I'll notify your mother when we arrive to" he adds.
"Are there other kids here too?" Peyton asked her leader.
"There are is fact just one though he's not much younger than you you're 9 right?" he asked the otter pup
"Yes I am" Peyton said
"His name is short fuse and he's 7 Its best you stay on his good side" Classified warns the girl.
2 long hours go by and they arrive a large white bear was waiting for them "that's funny I thought I told him that there were no new Recruits well then" Classified pulls Corporal aside
"See that cat over there?"
"you brought back a kitty she's so cute"
"Alice is not a kitten but she's not an adult either she's a teenager"
"what do you want me to do?"
" I don't know don't give her cuddles because she doesn't like them and because cats have claws it wouldn't end so well for you" warns Classified he deals with this issue alot.
Agents are split into two categories. Neutral and liability Corporal is a liability. "Did you take your medication while I was gone?" the leader asked his co worker.
"Those are a lot of piercings" Corporal tells Allie "why? Do you want one?" Ally took out a large knife. Classified immediately confiscates the knife. "These two are going to get along just fine" snarks Classified
Authors note the brain is not fully developed until your 25 years old. That's why under age agents are under 25.
