Every night, Tomoki Sakurai, a boy with black hair and brown eyes has the same dream.

He is on a open field, with a girl he has never seen before. And most importantly, she had wings. But for some reason, he loves her. And she loves him too.

But before the dream ends, the girl vanishes into the sky, and he wakes up in tears.

Tomoki's been having these dreams for years, but he never understood why.

Little did he know that someday, it would all make sense.

Speaking of Tomoki, lets see how he is doing, shall we?...

"Tomo-Chan! Wake up, we're going to be late! Tomo-Chan!"

The girl trying to wake up Tomoki is one of his childhood friends, Sohara Mitsuki. A girl with brown eyes and hair, who has a big yellow bow in the behind her ponytail.

Tomoki just ignored Sohara's attempts to get him up, because in his opinion, sleep was more important than school.

..Well, that was until Sohara lets out a blood curdling scream.

He jolted up and urgently asked her what was wrong, but found her gawking at his very own morning wood.

"You know," Tomoki started "I heard that morning wood is a sign of good luck.."

Sohara attempted to chop him, but he smartly dodged the attack, which resulted in Sohara falling on him in a...questionable pose.

Before she could get off of him, another voice entered the room. "Tomo, Sohara! Come on, we can't be late!"

The boy about to enter the room is James Aiko. A Blasian boy with short black hair and light brown eyes who was adopted by a japansese couple after being abandoned by his parents.

Ever since then, he meet Tomoki and Sohara, and they all spent their childhoods together.

"Come on guys, what are you even doing anywa-.."

Unfortunately, he caught them at the wrong time.

Sohara tried to reassure him. "J-James..it's not what it looks like.."

But he just stood there with a nervous smile. "You know what?.. You guys can finish what you're doing here, and I'll meet you at school.."

With that, he walked out of the room.

"Wait, James! Please do g-" Unfortunately, Tomoki didn't get to finish his sentence, for he got chopped where it hurts by Sohara.

This was a normal morning for Tomoki and his friends.

After that disaster of a wake-up call, Sohara and Tomoki finally caught up with James, and they all walked to school together. But the moment they arrived, they saw people going crazy around the campus.

"What's going on?.." Sohara asked.

Tomoki and James shrugged, but a girl running by paused infront of them.

"Didn't you hear?! Sugata-Sempai's gonna jump off the building!"

"Jump off the building?!" All three shouted in unison.

"Come!" The girl said, and she lead them to where all the action was happening.

There stood Eishirou Sugata, a young man with white hair, and blue-green eyes, with a glider in his hands. He is also the president of the New World Discovery Club.

"Hm...The wind direction isn't entirely in my favor, it's good enough to do an experiment." He said.

"You're kidding.." Sohara said.

"I think he's really gonna jump.." Tomoki replied.

"Sugata, you dumbass, get down from there!" James shouted.

However, it was too late, for he had already jumped.

Everyone gasped as Sugata was finally in the air...But it wasn't too soon before he plummeted.

"Well.." James started, "He's not really plummeting to the ground, he's falling with styl- Wait, nope, he's plummeting now

And then... CRASH!

Sugata has crashed into the trees.

James sighed. "Ugh..Sempai, you idiot.."

"Well, that was funny as hell." Comes a voice from behind them.

Behind them was Mikako Satsukitane, a young woman with dark purple eyes and flowing purple hair. She is also the student council president. But don't be fooled by her smile, though. She is quite the sadistic one, indeed. Her and Sugata are also childhood friends.

They greeted her, but James wasn't very happy with her.

"What the hell, Prez, aren't you guys childhood friends?! Why didn't you stop him?!"

"Oh nut-up, will you? I'm sure he's fine." She says in her calm and collective voice.

"Oh yeah, what makes you so sure?" He asked.

"Because this isn't the first time he did it."

"WHAT?!"

Before anything could get out of hand, Sohara grabbed his arm and pulled him along. "Come on, lets go to class before you blow up again."

James pouted. "I don't blow up.."

"Yeah, right!" Tomoki laughed.

Together, they walked to class.

...

Tomoki woke up on the open field. He knew he was in the dream. He looked up into the sky, and saw the girl.

"Save me.. The sky has captured me.." She said.

"Huh?!" Tomoki was confused, and the girl was disappearing into the sky again.

"The sky has captured me.." She said once again, going up into the sky, more and more.

"Tomo...Tomoki.."

...

"Tomoki!" James shouted, shaking Tomoki until he finally woke up, for he fell asleep on his desk during class. But, this was normal.

"Tomo, you can't keep falling asleep! The exams are coming up, so this needs to stop! Someday, you're really going to regret-..."

But James paused and gave Tomoki a sad look. He noticed the tears on Tomoki's face.

"You...had the dream again, haven't you?" James asked.

Tomoki then realizes the tears on his face, and wipes them away. "Oh geez, I'm crying again, aren't I..?"

Sohara then entered the conversation,

"Tomo, you've been having these dreams since you were little. I think we should take you a doctor."

"What?! No way! What are we gonna tell them, 'I'm crying while dreaming' like I'm some kid that can't sleep at night?" Tomoki protested.

"But we have to do something!"

"I got it!" Sohara starts. "We should go see Sugata-Sempai!"

"Actually, that's not a bad idea at all! He is a pretty smart person after all." James adds.

"Alright, it's settled then." Sohara stated.

"NO WAY! NO WAY! NO WAY!" Tomoki yelled. "He's nothing but trouble and he's going to ruin my peace and quiet!"

Sohara and James looked at each other before they looked at Tomoki and asked, "So...is that a no?"

"Never!" Tomoki shouted.

Suddenly a dark aura covered Sohara, and she raished her hand in a chopping position. "Is that so...I understand.."

Tomoki knew it would be the end of him, if he didn't do what she said.

...

" What..? A dream, you say?"

They arrived in Sugata's clubroom, and they talked to him about Tomoki's dream. ..Well, atleast James and Sohara did. Tomoki wanted nothing to do with it.

"So... you won't do anything about it?" Sohara asked.

"No, actually, I'm pretty intrigued." Sugata reponds.

"The thing is," He continued, "dreams are greatly affected by that individual's memory or desire..But this statement, is based on the theory of 'reality'."

James, Sohara, and now Tomoki, were interested.

"And these kind of theories are unable to explain unrealistic events...come take a look at this."

He then guides them to his computer.

On the screen was a a 3D model of the Earth, but there was a hole near the top.

"See that moving hole? Do you know what it is?"

James, Sohara, and Tomoki shook their head 'no'.

"Exactly." Sugata stated. "We don't know. All kinds of researchers did numerous obsevations, but they all failed. 'I don't know." And that goes the same for Tomoki's dream."

"Eh..?" Now that specifically got Tomoki's attention.

Sugata continued. "And that's because it's all about.."

They waited in anticipation.

"...The New Continent!"

All three of them were confused. Especially Tomoki.

"These scientific idiots have only been measuring mass and velocity, and excluding any other possiblity! Your dream is the same as the new continent, Tomoki! It's welcoming our arrival!" Sugata explained. "Let me check it's location."

Tomoki has thought Sugata has lost his mind. He knew that if he gets involved, his peaceful life would be ruined forever! But his thoughts were interrupted when Sugata spoke again.

"Good news, The New Continent will be passing by our town at 12 O'clock. You'll come with me, right Tomoki?"

"Ah..Umm...I-" Tomoki tries to speak, but is quickly interupted by his two friends.

"How wonderful!" Sohara exclaimed.

"Can we come too?" James asked.

"Of course." Sugata said. "We can all meet up at 12 O'clock under the Sakura tree beside the shrine."

"Alright!" Sohara exclaimed.

"Sounds good to me!" James added.

But while all of this happened, Tomoki was protesting the whole time. But they all ignored him. And he could hear it. The sound of his peace and quietly crumbling down.

And there was nothing he could do about it.

...

Hours later, at the location where they were to all meet up, only two appeared.

Tomoki and James.

Sohara was not here, because her mother wouldn't allow her to go out that late.

Sugata was not hee because he got into serious trouble with Mikako. I won't say what, but he did.

The only reasons the other two were able to make was because Tomoki's parents aren't around...No, their not dead. They just left him for a while. And James was able to come because he learned fro Sohara, and told his 'parents' that he had to study with Tomoki.

They just sat there, under the Sakura tree, staring into the night sky.

"...Hey, Tomo, wanna leave?"

Tomoki turns to James. "Hm?"

"It's pretty obvious that nothing is going to happen. So we came out for nothing.

Tomoki looks at the ground. "Yeah, I knew that Sugata was crazy from the start."

James chuckles. "Yeah, he is." James then holds his fist out towards Tomoki.

"Guess you were right all along, Tomo." He said smiling.

Tomoki smiles as well, and pumps his fist. "Thanks James. Ready to leave?"

James nods, and they both stand up.

Then suddenly...

...Ring Ring...

Someone was calling Tomoki's phone. He took it out, and the caller I.D. said Sugata.

"Huh?! How did he get my number?"

"Well...ehehe.." James said nervously. "I..uh..gave him your contact information."

Tomoki deadpanned at James before awnsering the phone.

"..Hello? Sugata?"

"Tomoki! James! I finally settled what I got into with Mikako, and I'm on my way as fast as I can! I want you to hear me out, and listen carefully!"

"GET OUT OF THERE NOW!"

"Huh, Tomo, what's going on?" James asked, in confusion.

"I don't know.." He responded.

He could hear Sugata try to speak, but the reception was breaking up.

"-THE HOLE- SUDDENLY STOPPED!-"

"The hole stopped? Sugata, we can't hear you!" Tomoki said into the phone.

"-YOUR-ABOVE-"

Tomoki and James looked up into the sky, and there it was. The giant hole was right above them.

And suddenly...

...CRASH!

Something, or someone, came out of the hole, and crashed right next to the two, creating a crater, and blasting them both away.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Tomoki yelled confused and scared.

"HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!" James yelled back.

They crawled towards the crater and looked inside.

"IS THAT A GIRL?!" Tomoki shouted.

"HOW COULD A GIRL FALL FROM THE SKY?! IT ALSO HAS WINGS!" James responded.

Inside the crater was indeed a girl. A girl with pink hair with two triangular devices stuck to each side of her head. She had wings, a big bust, and was wearing really revealing attire.

"Tomo, we have plenty of questions, but we should think about what we need to do right now!"

Tomoki nodded. "Yeah, you're right! Now what we need to do is...RUN AWAY!"

And with that, Tomoki went off running for his life.

James yelled for him to come back, but he kept running.

Well, that was until pillars started falling from the whole and blocked him from running. He went ever which way, but the pillars blocked him.

"Tomo, we have to help her!" James shouted.

"But she has wings!"

"It dosen't matter! She is a living, breathing creature, like us! Now get over here and help me!

Tomoki sighed. "...DAMN IT!" He yelled before he ran back to help James.

They slid into the crater, but as they did, something else fell from the sky.

A sword. A sword with an blood red blade and a black handle. An orange orb was also in the middle of the handle.

James gawked at it for a second, before pulling his attention back to the girl.

"I'll grab her legs, you grab her arms!" James ordered.

Tomoki nodded and they did just that. Though James was a little embarrassed, for he could almost see into her skirt.

"Now...LETS MOVE, COME ON, MOVE!" James shouted. And they went off carrying the girl, dodging pillars.

They used the thought of going home, homing watching tv, and chilling out to keep them going.

But, a pillar appeared right above Tomoki's end, and came falling down, right above him.

"A-AAHHHH!"

"TOMOKI!"

And then!...

Nothing..

..Absolutely nothing.

Tomoki opened his eyes, and he found himself above the ground. Feathers surrounding him.

He looked up. And there was the girl they were trying to save. Carrying him. They met eyes as her wings flapped in the air.

"Imprinting..." She said, and her black necklace formed a chain that got attached to Tomoki's hand.

"What the.."

"Tomo!" James shouted. Tomoki looked down, and James was dangling, holding on to her feet.

She slowly made her way to the ground. And let go of Tomoki. James also let go of her feet.

The girl looked up at James and Tomoki, but turned her attention to Tomoki. "How do you do? I am your Entertainment-Purpose 'Angeloid'.

Type Alpha, [IKAROS]."

"What's going on, Tomo?" James asked.

"I don't know.."

Ikaros continued to speak.

"As long it is something that pleases you, I will follow any commands. My Master.

Tomoki and James looked at each other.

And they knew this was the start of something special.
