Author Note: This is my first time writing a Star Trek fic, so this is kind of a learn as I go thing. 8D Also, this is NOT planned on slash, since they're kids. :/

Spock wasn't use to Earth yet. Not that he was going to be there for long enough to grow accustomed to the planet, though he was sure he'd be back.

Nor was he use to Earth beings falling out of the sky and into his lap.

The boy was blond, bright blue eyes staring at him, and Spock watched as they widened in realization and a bit of fear - especially since the swing he had landed on - well, the swing the boy he had landed on - had creaked and they both slammed to the ground. The boy began to shimmy, wriggling around his lap, which Spock watched, nudging him out.

As Kirk shimmied out of the boy's lap, heat rose up in his cheeks. Spock blinked, having tensed so much when the boy landed in his lap that his gloved hands still held his swing's chains up limply. The two stared at each other, neither saying a word. As the silence stretched between them, it became sort of a game and soon the blond scrambed up, running away from Spock, leaving the Vulcan confused.

"Father," Spock looked at his Dad as they were returning to their planet. "Do humans always fall out of the sky?"

"James Tiberius!" He grinned at his mother weakly as the police pulled away, leaving him to the wrath of his mother alone. She stared down at him, a mix of emotions in her eyes, the main ones being different degrees of anger. "You did what today?" To lie or not to lie? "And don't you dare lie to me." Well, that answered that.

"I, uh, saw a new person." That wasn't a lie, either. He had indeed seen someone new. "Alien, definitely."

"James Tiberius!"

"Okay, okay, fine. Um...I might've stolen a vehicle. Maybe." The sheepish grin on his face was not going to save him, especially when he finished the story."Well, I actually borrowed it, 'cause I was told I could...anyways."

"Regardless, you CRASHED it." Kirk winced. "You could have been killed."

"I'm sorry. It won't happen again, I promise." The look on her tired face told him she didn't believe him, and he turned away, until she cleared her throat. "I hit a large rock at at least, well, too fast and..." He hesitated. "And the impact threw me...and I landed in some kid's lap, the only thing hurt was the swing...which broke."

Before his Mom could lay into him, he was out the front door, ready for his next adventure.
