Author Note: I wanted to start 2017 with 300 storylines and counting so I decided to take the last few hours of 2016 and just do one takes. So this storyline takes place after Christmas. It's been a long time since I wrote a fanfiction for NCIS:LA. This storyline is for Callen and Anna. I feel that I am a little rusty on this show.
Callen was looking for 2016 to be done. It had been a long year since his break-up with Joelle. Callen walked into headquarters to find Anna there.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Callen asked her.
"Hetty called and said that you might need some help on this case since Deeks and Kensi are away on a trip." Anna said to him.
"Okay that is good." Callen responded to her with a smile. He was super glad that she was there. Sam and Nell arrived about five minutes later.
"Hey, Anna. We are glad to see you." Nell said to Anna as she gave her a hug.
"I second that." Sam responded to her as he gave her a hug as Callen just watched them.
A few hours later
Callen and Anna were about to head home. Callen and Anna had a secret that they were not ready to tell everyone about their relationship.
"Hey." Callen said to his girlfriend before giving her a small kiss.
"Hi, are you ready to celebrate New Years with me?" Anna responded to him.
"Yeah of course." Callen responded to her.
Callen and Anna waited until the ball dropped and shared a first kiss of the New Year.
