Warning: Shonen-ai. That means boys that like other boys, and they kiss
sometimes.

--Introduction--
"Taichi-senpai?"
"Yes, Daisuke?" The older boy cupped his hand around Daisuke's face, staring into his eyes lovingly.
"I think I'm in love with you." Daisuke replied, with great confidence.
Taichi pulled the boy closer and winked, "I know. Me too."
Daisuke smiled and continued smoothly, "Does this mean we're going to be dating now, then?"
"I suppose so," Taichi answered and pulled Daisuke into a warm embrace, kissing him full on the lips.
At least, that was how Daisuke pictured the exchange. In reality, on the other hand, he was sitting in front of a cold, uncaring computer monitor in Odaiba while the other end of the conversation was typing on a keyboard in a college computer lab in Kyoto. His hands had been shaking and sweating and it had taken him several minutes to even convince himself to hit send after each line. There had also been a lot less sense of grammar and a lot more emoticons.
Taichi had left Odaiba several months earlier, along with Yamato, to attend college in Kyoto. Daisuke, being younger, was still stuck at home, himself entering high school. However, he was taking every opportunity he could to maintain correspondence with his hero.
Lately, Taichi had been spending a lot of time in front of a computer, working on papers or playing games while pretending to be working on papers, so Daisuke had been able to have frequent and often fairly deep conversations with him over instant messenger. This combined with the ideas generated by the frequent sexual innuendo Taichi sprinkled generously through his speech; Daisuke had begun to develop some pretty serious feelings.
"I need to go now, they're shutting down the lab, but I have a long weekend coming up soon, and I'll be coming back to Tokyo, why don't I see you then?"
Daisuke breathed a sigh of relief in not having to think of any further replies other than a simple "ok." Taichi's name dimmed and then disappeared off of Daisuke's screen, but he continued to stare blankly at the spot where it was for a moment before shutting down the computer to go watch some TV.
Having the TV to himself, he didn't particularly care what he watched. He just thought of Taichi and spaced out, leaving on a bizarre infomercial starring fully grown men in blue duck suits, until his mother urged him to go to bed.
