Author's Note: This is my poem for Loki using the "Where I'm From" poem template :) (Which I do not own)
Since I discovered more about Loki, I've thought there was a difference between where you live, and your home.
And just because Loki could never fit in, that isn't even half an excuse for them not to let him belong...
And I don't really know how to explain... But... enjoy!
I am from the many books, from magic spells and throwing knives,
I am from the golden pillars, suns and daylight, hurtful eyes,
I am rather from the falling snow, shadows, where the cold is strong,
But really neither of them had fit. Why won't they just let me belong?
I am from the battle cries, starting wars, they love to do,
From a blind yet glaring father, and a brother who hates blue,
He's everybody's choice, of course. It doesn't matter,
He's my favourite, too
From Only one of you can, and being told No,
And If you don't fit in here, you have no place to go.
I'm from others around learning how to break bones,
While I watch from the back. Why has he left me alone?
I'm from trying my hardest though it's never enough.
It still doesn't matter. I love them so much.
From learning to lie, and being known to.
But just because I'm good at it,
It doesn't mean I always do
I am from books and planning and magical skill.
Their shallow reasons I don't belong,
And probably never will
