This fanfic is about Team Kurenai after the leeches thing during the forest of death (This story short)
Shino walked toward the team and picked up a heaven scroll. Kiba was cheering ridiculously loud.
"Good job… Shino." Hinata said in almost a whisper.
"Kiba, quiet down we might alert other teams and we still need to get the earth scroll and get back to the tower." After that the team quietly walked through the forest of death. It seemed like hours until they finally found another team.
They got behind some bushes and Kiba scruffed up Akamaru's hair to make him look more like a wild dog. Akamaru jumped out and bit one person's hand. Hinata ran through and jyuuken struck him in the stomach.
Kiba jumped over and hit another with Tsuuga. As Hinata continued her barrage of Jyuuken Bugs started to swarm the last one. Within about a minute team 8 won the battle.
"Earth scroll! That was easy!" Kiba said.
"We still need to make it to the tower" Shino said.
There was a sudden burst of smoke and when it cleared Hinata was in a headlock and had a kunai to her neck. The person's other two teammates stood behind him.
He had parasols in an X on his back and strange scars on his face.
"Hand over your heaven scroll or the girly here dies!" He said. Shino simply tossed the scroll to him.
Kiba yelled at Shino as they kept walking and Shino just stood with his arms crossed as he walked through the forest.
They were walking calmly but suddenly a giant snake leapt out at them. At had its mouth wide open. Kiba and Akamaru used Gatsuuga on the top of its head slamming it down. Shino controlled poisonous bugs to attack it.
Kiba and Akamaru continued with Gatsuuga until the snake was knocked unconscious. The poison would soon kill it. They found another squad leaning against a rock wall unconscious. They walked over and picked up an earth scroll. After that they charged for the tower.
Until the Gaara incident. They hid behind the bushes watching.
"That's who took Hinata." Thought Kiba.
"Raining senbon needles!" The one in the front said after tossing his parasols in the air.
"So that's what the parasols were for." Thought Shino. The needles blasted down to be blocked by Gaara's shield.
"Pathetic." Thought Gaara. He made the sign of the bird. Sand sorounded the one in the front.
"Sand Coffin! Desert burial!"
Then the sand moved towards the other two and blew them to pieces. Team 8 ran like hell to the tower and got their one the second day.
