( (A drabble to cheer me up. Being sick myself. I do not own Fairy Tail. And Shina is an OC of mine. There will be a series similar to this explaining more about her. Enjoy! - Aislee ))

"Ah.. Ahhh.."

"ACHOOO!"

Shina sniffled, groaning. "This sucks..," she muttered, rubbing at an eye.

"You've been doing that a lot, Shina-chan," Happy stated, giving her a look of concern.

"Well, thank you for that, Capt'n Obvious," the Earth mage retorted. Though, she didn't mean to sound rude.

But damn this cold is getting on her nerves!

"WHAT DID YOU SAY, PERVERTED POPSICLE!?"

"YOU HEARD ME, FIRECROTCH!"

… This wasn't helping her headache any, either.

She bunched up the tissue in her hands, clenching her jaw.

CRASH

Shina took in a deep breath.

"WOULD YOU GUYS SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!"

She winced. Ow.. My head…

The heads of both the fire Dragon Slayer and Ice mage poked into the doorway, staring owlishly at the girl.

"What's your problem?" Gray asked, raising a dark eyebrow.

"Well, let's see. I've got a nose running like a great river, a headache that feels like someone's constantly beating my skull in with a jackhammer, I can't breath for shit. And I have two morons fighting over Gods know WHAT making a ruin of my loft!", Shina panted.

Natsu blinked,"Really, who? Can I kick their asses!?"

WHACK

"OW! The hell was that for!?", he shouted at the taller male, rubbing the back of his head.

Gray just snorted, "Idiot."

Shina whined, "Please, enouuugh."

The Ice mage sauntered over to her bed, leaning in and placing a hand over her forehead; "Seems like it's worse than we thought."

"No. Really?", she rolled her eyes.

He made a face, then straightened up. "I'll have to go ask Mira for suggestions to reduce a fever."

"Or you can just use your ice powers to lower the temperature, Einstein."

"That too…"

"Hey! What can I do?", Natsu pointed to himself with a pout. He hated feeling left out.

"Why don't you heat something up, or just sit in a corner and shut that fire-breathing, gaping hole in your face," Gray remarked, annoyed.

The pink-haired boy opened his mouth to say something, then Shina cut in with a cough; "That's a good idea. Natsu, how about you get me some soup?" She smiled, batting her eyelashes a little. She's been hanging around Lucy way too much.

Natsu perked up, then flashed a toothy grin at her. "No problem! I got this!", he said proudly, then rushed away from the door.

"That was easy," Gray said, smirking a little.

"Shut up and put your hand on my head again."

"Yes, your majesty."

She tried to fight a smile, but ended up failing. Shina laughed a little, then shivered at the sudden contact of ice cold to her skin.

"Sorry."

"Next time, warn me," Shina huffed, then nestled back into her pillows and blankets, closing her eyes and relaxing into the cool touch of Gray's palm.

BOOM

Shina jumped, then landed onto the floor with a loud thud. Luckily she had a little cushion due to the many tissues laying around everywhere.

"What.. The hell was that?", she mumbled through the hard wood.

"It.. Sounded like it came from the kitchen," Gray replied.

"I'm afraid to ask.."

"Natsu! What on Earth are you doing!?", a female voice shrieked in horror from down stairs.

"What!? I was just trying to heat up some soup! Shina's sick!", he shouted back, to justify himself as if he didn't do anything wrong.

Gray was already at the scene, picking a fight. Once again; "You moron! That's not how you do it!"

"You wanna go, Snowman!?"

Shina groaned, loudly. Whyyyy?

Happy patted her gently on the head with his paw, "Don't worry, Shina-chan. I think eating fish will make you feel better!"

The girl sighed. Then she smiled.

Sure, everything was going into chaos. But it was all to see that she gets well again. She was happy to have such good friends, no matter how many flaws they had.

I wouldn't have them any other way…
