I'd like to say that this is the first story that I've done in a while, and I would appreciate all feedback on how I'm doing again!

Fluttershy's first party.
Chapter 1: The Beginning.
"Hello little friends! How are you today?" Fluttershy asked, knowing there would be no response. "Have some of these apples, they were hoof grown by my friend, Applejack!" she said while handing the small animals some animals. Today wasn't a normal day for Fluttershy. Today was the day her and Pinkie Pie were going to the library to borrow a book on partying, because Pinkie needed her help setting up a party while she watched the baby Cakes.
"Oh, today is going to be so much fun!" Fluttershy exclaimed, as quiet as ever, "I need to go meet Pinkie in an hour, so I have to go get ready. Bye, animal friends!" She waved goodbye to the animals, who responded only by gnawing on their apples even more. One particular bunny, Angel, waved goodbye, knowing she had waited for this day for over a week. Fluttershy sprinted into her house and up the stairs to brush her mane. "I can't wait; this party is going to be fun! I wish she would tell me who it was for, though... Oh well, at least I can hear about it from Pinkie later."
When Fluttershy finished brushing her mane, she walked out the front door, and flew for the pink pony's work, where she lived. Pinkie works in Sugar Cube Corner, where she bakes for Carrot and Cup Cake, the owners of the shop. She lives upstairs, where they gladly let her stay, and she watches after their children from time to time. When Fluttershy arrived, she was 15 minutes early, so she decided to walk around Ponyville for a while. She stopped by Rarity's house and talked for a while, planning their next spa day. They finally agreed on a time, and Fluttershy left, being 3 minutes early still. She knocked on the door, and almost immediately heard bouncing hoofsteps, descending stairs 4 steps at a time. A few seconds later, the door flew open, with an excited Pinkie Pie still bouncing behind it.
"Hi Fluttershy!" She said when she finally stopped bouncing "Are you ready to go to Twilight's house and get the book?" "Uh, yes." She said, far quieter than Pinkie "Should we go now? That is, if you want to." She flustered herself. Fluttershy hated making ponies do things. "Of course silly willy!" Pinkie Pie shouted "Let's go!" She said, grabbing Fluttershy and bouncing at rainboom speeds towards Twilights house.
